Why is it so hard to buy a house? I’m staring at a house in my town for 99k But I just moved to texas and I have only been here 6 months Just like that I don’t qualify for a house because I have to have a job for 2 years? I own land that’s worth about 10k I have a 650 credit score on credit karma but who knows if that’s what the bank sees When you apply for a loan they see a whole different number than you do I’m definitely low income because finding a good job requires moving to a part of the US that pays decently I would settle for a singlewide on my land but unfortunately there’s restrictions on the land that require I build on a cement slab 😅 can’t catch a break

Hi Jen like your video I have a problem I'm building a house i have a construction loan so I will need to get a mortgage after built My problem is that i probably won't qualify anymore because wife stoped working after covid and going some over budget My income is 88,600 and we own a house no mortgage but the new construction loan is going to be close to 330,000 so I don't know if I qualify anymore My credit score is 673 it was 800 before build What options do i have I'm building a house on 1 acre that is also paid off

Hello, are you a mortgage person? I just changed careers (25 years as a teacher, now a truckdriver), and have 250K from the sale of my last house I have excellent credit but no one will give me a loan until I have worked at the new job for 1 year It's so frustrating because with more than half down I can certainly afford the payments! Even after the down payment I'll still have significant savings to fall back on (which I still have no plan to touch) I want that house :-/

We have great credit 730-780 and only a $200 car payment for debt We only make about $2500 a month and will only have our tax returns (should be around $10,000) to cover down payment and closing costs and other expenses What kind of loan should we be looking at?
