So thats my concern If i start buying metals and say the economy tanks and want to cash in in the future, who do sell it to that doesnt rip you off or lowball you? Doesnt seem that you can just take a pocket of gold or silver to bank and cash in So, ur left with coin dealers an such that most likely will lowball your metal "investment"

Very enlightening video, as usual! I was a bit dismayed that so many shops were back of spot for AGEs! Wow! In your earlier video, I was pleased that the Maples were in the same neighborhood at least I will be prepared to gird my loins for such disappointing offers, when and if I find myself in such a position It would be interesting to hear the offers for some of the "lesser" bullion coins, maybe some Kangaroos and Krugs! I wish I had your quick math brain, SS!

Most gold &silver dealers are not buying gold or silver now, they want to make money, but you can buy a a large markup The same will happen when you really need cash, gold is not the best invertment, ammo,cheep booze, etc will get you by, and cost you lesd

My understanding was that when it comes to Gold Eagles, Gold Buffalos, and Silver Eagles, no forms need to filled out when selling them, regardless of the quantity, since they are legal US tender Perhaps I'm mistaken, but I've always understood that the $10,000 rule is only for foreign coins and bullion

One LCS quoted me about $75 back from spot for both eagles and buffalos so id never sell to them BUT they also sell junk silver for 17X facelike all shopping you find the deals where they exist, You can go to 5 grocery stores and find deals at everyone but overpriced items at everyone as wellGood to be a good consumer

You don't need to sell your PM's to coin shops, of course you're going to get low-balledespecially when you sound as if you don't know anything You can sell your coins through Ebay or locally at spot price, and possibly add a small premium yourself I've done it many times without issue

Seems logical to me they would not pay over spot Gold spot Prices are down to sideways, with a dollar that is bouncing off major support If gold clears above $2000, these dealers may change their tune, as gold would be viewed to be more likely in a bull market of significant proportions If spot goes over $2100, it’ll be off to the races Dealers will want all the gold they can get their hands on They will pay over spot, and probably sell right away at higher premiums
