I recently bought an XBox with Coinops 5 lite preloaded on it For some reason the NES & SNES games do not work - When I load a game from those 2 systems, I get a black screen but I can still hear the sound brbrYour video makes it seem pretty easy to reinstall this (assuming I can reinstall) but has anyone ever had a problem like the one I am having? If there is an easy fix, I would be all about that :p

Hi hope someone can helpI've recently bought a modded crystal xbox with full coin ops 6I know nothing about installing or uninstalling gameseverything was working perfect until yesterdayThe nes games on the system have stopped workingAfter I pick a game I just get a black screen but the game is playing as there is music i can jump and be killed etc but there is just not pictureI'm hoping someone can advise me of a quick fix

Ter, immFTP'ing all 78XX gigs of 6 full and it keeps failing to tranfer the last 200 files With repetive succesion, it keeps shrinking thatnnumber and immdown to about 150 Any ideas?

Hey I just wanted to thank you for your time and invaluable knowlege I have taken your advice and obtained the full version of CoinOPS 6 and its unrar-ing as i speak I just cant see going back to the standalone emu's after seeing what coinops is capable of Its renewed my interest in finishing the arcade cabinet i built a decade ago Imreally hope the clean install of the full version takes care of my issue Again id like to thaNk younfor taking your time in assisting me with my problems Ill most definitely report the results of the fresh install I hope this does it! I really cant wait to experience these roms thru coinops

Hi Terry,brbrI installed coinops lite 6 and whenever I choose it, it scans (as it did for you at 7:50) and goes back to the splash screen that says press any button Once I hit the button it just scans again and never load the emulator Did I do something wrong? Any thoughts would be appreciated! Thanks for the video

Awesome vid! Just one question when I push start on the game list it does not bring up the settings menu and I need to rescan my games because I added a few know why is that? Otherwise it works like a champ!

to install CoinOPs5 full you need to have a larger HDD installed in your xbox The stock Xbox HDDs are either 8 or 10 GB with 46GB or 66 GB free for you to add content CoinOPS5 full is 67GB so you need a 80GB or larger HDD to install it -Have fun

Nice video! I've been trying to get CoinOps going on my modded xbox with no luck I have a 120GB laptop harddrive connected with an IDE adapter and I have been able to run XBMC, NES emulator, SNES emulator, Atari emulator, and other homebrew apps to run as standalone apps I have tried Evox, and Unleash X as startup dashboards, but whenever I startup CoinOps it goes to a black screen and nothing happens, it just hangs there and I never gets to the start up screen, any tips to get it going? I've checked the files after extracting and they seem to all be there I've also tried the CO5 Full download and it does the same thing Thanks!

Ok, chimp will act up if you do not use an original xbox controler- but you do not need to run chimp2618 to install coinops5lite (it will fit on any stock xbox HDD you just have to install minus a few games if you have a western digital hard drive) Are you planning to install coinops lite ?
