I was using a free app for a while and it was going really well so I thought Although after I progresses further in the lessons and was learning more and more words, I discovered that I did not remember the words that I had learned previous I remember Spanish words that I learned in my high school Spanish class but I don't remember any of the Spanish that I learned from that app I need an app that can build on and reinforce the words I already learned so that I don't forget them Example: the words that I am learning needs to stay in the lesson, not disappear and I never see them again I need a program to keep building upon what I am learning, so as I am learning new words, the words that I already learned keep staying in the lesson so that I don't forget them as I learn the new words Make sense? This is very true! As a Spanish learner and an English teacher I know that apps r nice to start with but wont sustain you for fluency and speaking like a native There are too many nuances to becoming fluent I started my Spanish journey again recently and got two teachers, one community teacher from Colombia and one professional teacher from Spain to focus on my grammar (& i practice grammar with the app Conjugación) I also have language partners I hope to get daily practice with (both Dominican) I also recommend a person who DOES NOT speak your language at all bc it forces you to try harder in Spanish (I have a Colombian friend for this) I teach on Preply and have seen many Spanish teachers there too (Italki is more cost friendly & many teachers teach on both platforms but charge less on Italki 😉) Good luck learning everyone!
