I would prefer seeing what im buying As you stated purchasing one thats already slabbed is even better Nobody is going to give any of us a bargain when it comes to coins Comment from : B L |
Also, how do we know if these coins have been graded? Comment from : Steve Mann |
Where do you recommend me buy them besides eBay or Heritage Comment from : G Trahan |
I cant imagine a GSA box not being opened for decades That is an original box, I remember tearing into them when i bought 3 for about $45 each back in the 1970's Comment from : Jim |
thanks Comment from : Tim |
Keep your GD graphic logo out of our field of view, please Comment from : Acoustic Shadow |

Awesome collection Thanks for sharing Very educational and we appreciate the lessons learned 👍 Comment from : bluewaterSTAX1980 |
Those GSA's are hot for sure! If you already had the 1921D, why did you buy that lower grade one? Those boxes are cool with the coa etc Lot of chatter on that coin Are you still gonna send that new GSA for grading? Wow $504 seems pretty steep seen some screaming graded GSA Morgans upper $300's - low $400's Great video, thanks for sharing man! Scams everywhere! Comment from : Pirate Stacker |
Bought 2 1878 CC Morgans at $100 each sold the Anacs Cleaned EF45 for $175 & kept the PCGS AU53 So essentially, spent $25 and still got a nice CC Morgan Comment from : John Morgan |
Hello from the great state of Michigan Good evening I found your very interesting video by chance When my 99-year-old father passed away he left me eight boxes of the 1884 cc had never been opened he purchased them in the 70s what would he have paid for those back in the 70s Comment from : Ted Smith |
They got ya Comment from : Kevin Hoock |
The best I've gotten from ebay on a raw coin was my 1883 cc It came back from pcgs as a MS 66 I only paid 345$ for it plus the 50 to grade it and now it's over a 1,500 dollar coin Like you said you just have to be careful with the bag marks on cheek and field's Comment from : David Vandebrake |
Whats your opinion on these GSA’s now? Should I wait to get in till the fomo diea down? Thanks man Comment from : Minnesota Matt |
I would not beat yourself up about the purchase you've got yourself an uncirculated Carson City You know the market is very good for these coins and they have been showing a lot of gains If you hold onto it for a 2 year rotation I'm sure you can profit Or just hold onto it for longer You DID NOT GET RIPPED OFF! Ms63 is $46000 I bought these same GSA'S years ago for $22000 at the time they were worth only $180-$200 now look at the prices I do like unopened proof sets as well Comment from : Numismatic Stacker |
You could always resell it and probably even make a profit Comment from : LazyboyLarry |
Why did you keep putting your logo up whenever you turned the coin to the reverse side, or why didn't you want us seeing the reverse? Comment from : LazyboyLarry |
Great info Thank you! Comment from : shawn951951 |
I got mine back in the 70's for $45 Comment from : Mary Mastromauro |

Love the pcgs gsas Comment from : Plumber Stacker |
One more unrelated comment: I've occasionally seen these weird, legitimate NGS slabbed CC's show up on Ebay and even on the reputable auction sites linked from PCGS - CC's that are "restrikes" for 1886-1888 They were apparently "privately issued" in 2014, appear to be the best-looking Morgan restrikes I've seen apart from Etsy-type silver-coated Cu-Ni garage sale fakes, were minted as DPLs and, strangest of all, command a near $400 price I cannot track down what's up with these either here on YT or with general Google-fu Can you comment on them in a newer video? Comment from : Dr Thomas Rasberry |
Thank you for sharing this information Comment from : Big Apple Stacker |
very nice morgans!! Comment from : johnny b |
Buying an unopened one is like buying a lottery ticket, some are winners some are duds, its gambling plain and simple Truthfully you should avoid all private sales on Ebay because there are so many counterfeiters selling Chinese junk Comment from : Robert Waterman |
Love the gsa cc morgans just picked up 3 more they are the non uncirculated ones but are sweet looking where still in boxes will do a video of them soon Comment from : stack attacker Wager |
Two differences when purchasing them they case will say Silver Dollar versus Uncirculated Silver Dollar You'll get the culled paperwork with the Silver Dollar etched on the case Comment from : Cornell Irons |
Лайк в копилку 👍👍👍 Comment from : coin numismatics |
They got youI was paying anywhere from 150-210 for 1882-1884 Comment from : Cornell Irons |
Hey, my friend good video I just love Carson City GSA Morgan’s However, for myself whenever I do buy high-grade GSA Morgan’s I always buy the ones that are already graded I would always caution anybody that is wanting to buy an advertised unopened GSA Morgan There is just too much risk of being ripped off Thanks for the video my friend Comment from : JGs Coin Channel |
I've been collecting since 2000br One I have never bought a coin off the Internet For my collectionbr I will say I have bought a lot of the Internet for my stackingbr I would not buy GSA Morgan unless I had my loop And coin in person I have about 15 or more dealers in my 100 Mile radius That I placed calls to do inventory checks for things that I might be interested in I also asked them are they interested in any certain coins, Which will you might be able to do a trade Comment from : I AM Starseed I AM |
Sorry to hear you had some issues with these coins I use to love buying on eBay but these days I stay away unless I know the dealerbrI don't know if the dealer on ebay showed that one coin with the slab in their listing but look at the case on those GSA ones The ones that sold for the low price had no marking on the case that says UncirculatedbrGD Comment from : GD Saving The Past |
The fact that they had the year marked outside the box, would be the first red flag that the box had been previously opened Comment from : Stacking Investments |
Thanks for sharing your experiences with us I am sorry these did not work out for you Good advice! 👍 Also, please check your email Thanks Comment from : CC Dollars |
Stunning coins,I love Morgan’s ,but my are cheap ones👍👌👏😎🤩 Comment from : Coin Spot |
This is great information on the CC Morgans I never knew any of this and seeing them as you described the situation was helpful Thanks! Comment from : Anna T |
Bummer about the baggyness However any GSA CC are always easy to liquidate The price paid is a little steep That is one of the reasons I never buy "unopened" or "unsearched" rolls etc They all seem to be scams in my humble opinion Anyhow, thanks for sharing bro! Comment from : Silver Surfer |
