I purchased an Aura Mason based on reviews like this one, and immediately returned it brbrThe frame has ZERO non-volatile internal storage You can buy the frame as a gift and pre-load photos, but everything you loaded is lost when the unit is unplugged and cannot be restored without a WiFi connection Many folks out there only use the internet on a smart phone and have no Wi-Fi available brbrThe frame will also turn into a useless pile of electronics if the Aura servers go offline At this price point, they should at least include a micro SD slot for data storage brbrWith the addition of local storage it would be a very good device

Please tell me that you don't have to have 2 images on the screen at a time, you can just have one, right? Also, will it always make sure every picture is up right The old frame I have now, half the images are up right the other half are sideways

Does it only work via a mobile phone app or is there also the possibility to have it connected to windows or even better a NAS? I don't tend to keep all photo's on my phone and we make pictures with several mobile phones, so all gets combined on the laptop
