I have always avoided updates to be honest In 1995 when windows to the world was introducedrolling stones '' START ME UP '' i like many got a computer and bought windows 95i loved it and it was so much better with a computer than console game machines in net and gamebut in time i got several upgrades in window no i dont not buy every window along the way, but as 95 went to win 98/xp pro/win 10/now win 11as i say i avoided updates cause every version i went through had up-dates of course and 75 of the time i lost many programs like invested games cash wise/and applications and many failures hardly ever we got any to recover patch wise and suchall from the mighty update, Im just saying its been my experiancein windows (kinda puts me like a ''rock in hard place'' ya think ha ha

I have Windows 11 on one of my computers (Windows 10 on the other two) After installing the OS, I turned off as much spyware and bloatware as I deemed safe to avoid crashing the system (I've never had the guts to uninstall Edge, but I do remove it as a startup item), I installed a few programs like DaVinci Resolve that actually run better in Windows, and haven't had occasion to boot into it since (same with the Windows 10 installs)brI have multiple drives with power buttons for each drive, the Windows drives remain powered down, ready to go, while the drives themselves gather dustbrMy rule of thumb is NEVER to use Windows if the same or better results can be accomplished in Linux The thought of accessing my bank account via Windows sends chills up my spine

Don't get windows 11 If you do you have to actually do registry edits to get rid of microsoft edge which will randomly pop up from the side constantly with anti-white 'news' with headlines like 'white 'karen' had a problem with a black woman ordering chicken nuggetsshe decided to clap back' etc,brbrthey make everything very hard to get rid of anything microsoft related and it's just obnoxious brbron the taskbar microsoft teams in installed if you buy windows 11on a laptop and will randomly open just like msnbc propaganda in edge does constantly you can't even remove from the taskbar without digging through settings to turn it offbrbrdo yourself a favor and don't waste your money and stay on windows 10, it is much easier to use

I just switched today from Windows 10 to Windows 11 I am using motherboard ASUS ROG Maximus XII HERO (Wi-Fi) I upgraded its BIOS to firmware 2701 I love the context -menu every time I do a right click, specially when Copying / Moving / Pasting / Renaming file Very handy I also love the dark themes for the whole Windows GUI It is relaxing to my eyes

The quality of life changes are all great, only thing I don't like so far (probably because I haven't figured it out yet) is how I can't drag my left monitors taskbar to the Right side vertically And on my Right monitor, drag it to the left vertically as well I've always had that set up, so the bars are near each other and out of the way because I use to accidentally open hidden taskbar when I played games in windowed mode

Someone please help, I have windows 11 2022, I've been trying to change the height and width of images but the option for custom dimensions is gone in the resize box, every time I try to change the height or width, it auto-fills with numbers, not allowing me to change the size to custom numbers or sizes Like I can't do 800x 1280, it will only do 1200x 1200, or fill in numbers
