nice explanation of options trading which I have not done in years Funny how much you forget if you do not do this very often If you have a stock position, and for example just using one stock, and you have done well with up price, and do not want to sell, do you use a put spread to protect this? Is this the process where you sell a call and buy a put that have very close strike prices? How do you know what strike price to use? and what time period to expiration? Selling the call gives you some discount on the buying of the put, since you are trying to protect the stock value from decreasing I wish I understood this more, and just how much to pay for this, as it is so time decaying Can you offer any short explanation or do you have a video on how you do this?
