I have a question today i went to a Walmart stored and cash over 20 dls coins at the coins Star machine and i got a paper voucher but at the time i paid My merchandise at the store i forgot to cash it does any one know when does it expire ? I buy Silver or vintage coins with the money!! Much better than saving cashit's too tempting to "spend" cash that you stash away, trust me I can sell or trade silver/coins if I need emergency money, or use it for a down payment on somethingsilver and gold are REAL liquid currencyand vintage coins are Always going up in value

Coinstar is stupid, every time I put more than 200 dollars in the machine stops, and asks to hunt down store manager, only to tell me that they will take number and call me at their convenience to retrieve my cash

I always roll my change and take it to the bank whenever I need it Covid hit hard and when I can’t make it to the bank or they’re closed early on the weekends, that’s when I’ll use coinstar It’s not ideal if you need cash because 12 adds up if you bring tons of change, but sometimes you just have to take the hit A lot of places in my town just won’t accept rolls of change

Just use cash cards and bitcoins Look, you even traded your years of coins in for a gift card That's basically throwing away 20 hours of your time you will never get back by handling raw cash And who knows what kinds of germs you pick up after handling that sort of thing

I have 1/2 of a jar filled with coins I am a waitress at Pizza Hut so all my coins I get from tips people leave me goes into the jar Or I pay for something with cash and I have change left I put them in the jar My fiancé hates when I pay for things using coins So I just put them in a jar I want to eventually take my coins to a coinstar machine and have them counted My dad said the machine keeps a percentage of your money or something like that

So if you get the gift cards they don’t charge no money? And what cards do they have? If I do my change there about $700 in there if you almost $300 so they would charge me over a $100 just to change it in None of the banks do it no more and the machines are expensive to buy one and do it yourself I opened account to pay a CC and that and I didn’t ask if they did change 🤦🏻‍♀️
