I can do all of those but the only one that gives me trouble is D I have to press the bottom string really hard or it doesn't sound clean I have a permanent groove in the tip of my second finger from playing Dbr Maybe one day I will get a guitar teacher to show me how to play it clean without pressing so hard

Thanks so much for these videos They are really helpful Although i have a doubt regarding strumming I dont understand how you decide to strum which strings while playing a chord For eg- while playing C major chord, how did you know to strum from the 5th string Is it something we have to memorize or there's some logic behind that?

Yes, your hands are going to cramp up, you’re going to feel as if you have absolutely no control over your fingers, playing is going to feel so foreign and uncomfortable, but it’s ok! This was very helpful, though slightly confused me because I was listening only, and as you did the e minor, 5th fret second string , I laughed and went to 2nd fret on my 5th string, It’s hard work saying frets and string whilst trying to do it aswell

For years I've played A major with my 1st, 2nd and 3rd finger in that order but the way you do it with the 2nd 1st and 3rd is ergonomically better I'm having lots of fun progressing through the basic chords whilst keeping an anchor finger down Cheers Andy,now I've gotta relearn the guitar! 😂
