Interesting how they skirt around Piccadilly Gardens, always just managing to keep it out of shot It's a dump, full of spice addicts, beggars, drug dealers and violent thugs As a Mancunian it breaks my heart to admit it but Manchester is not a tourist destination Public transport is appalling dirty and overpriced, very few eateries are worth the money and beggers using the city centre as public toilet, even in broad daylight, make it unsuitable for travelling families Locals have urged politicians to do more, but they will never be voted out so there doesn't seem to be much incentive Perhaps if people stop visiting and spending their hard earned cash eventually something will be done, after all money talks even to Labour councils
