Tested my bank twice over the last two months by making a few large cash withdrawals (how much is nobody business) only one time did the teller ask me why, told them it was not really their business and it is my money Cashier had to go to the back to buy more cash for his drawer, the one thing that made me mad is that he counted it out loud for all to hear

Police can take your money from you and it's now legal According to new law, if you are pulled over for traffic stop and they find $10,000 or more they can legally take it away from you, because you might be a drug dealer If you are going to a car show/auction, your at risk of loosing it to the police If you go to a car show, they want cash, this is how some business works Police can wait in front of a car show and pull anybody with tail light out, no seat belt etc,,,and search your car, if you refuse a search impound the car, hold it, and let you go without doing anything but guess who has to pay for impound?

Watching from the UK I've noticed more people paying for goods using cash this year I used to use a credit card for business purchases to make accounting easier, but i stopped doing that a few years ago unless it is a large purchase I use cash for nearly all physical purchases & avoid any businesses that don't accept cash What I find interesting is that a new polymer £50 note was only released this year, so on one hand it seems they want us to use cash, but on the other hand they don't Or is that just the banks!

Wife and I are 75 years old , both work part time making about 2000 per month, cash the checks while the social security is direct deposited We own no credit or debit cards and do everything possible in cash Do NOTHING financially online Just because of the times I want as small of a foot print as possible Barter days are coming I have done many craft shows with wood working and took cash or checks and NO credit cards In 12 years I never had a bad check
