i like this, ive been doing something similar just out of intstinct, probably because of been through the formal language acquisition rodeo a few times now not the best imo i call this superior method 'language assimilation' you study the language but instead of trying to fit the target language, you make it your own, using your own resources, experiences and judgments as playgrounds or sandboxes pretty fun Comment from : American Sicko |

Robin, You tell very interestingly But could you tell how you start learning a foreign language? Starting from the zero level Because in this film you talk about developing a language when: you have intermediate level, you know the vocabulary and basics of grammar And how do you reach the intermediate level? Comment from : Adam_Whitestok |

It can be hard to speak when you can barely construct a sentence Years ago I learnt my English through reading and just listening, it works That's why am teaching beginner English this way, I know it works through experience Comment from : ASMR English Teacher |

I hope in my conersation class on weekends at Fisk my teacher appreciate this vid as much as I did You know, ever since my first class that the way I've drilled but, as I'm shy, I could never ever motivate anyone myself Nowadays I'm into German, and it's been working the very same way Way to gobrBTW: I've exchanged words in French with my dad's client who lived in Belgium I've never gone to a French school But the methodology has always worked ever since the first English class over ten years ago Comment from : Victor Bonassi |
|
I wish it had portuguese subtitles too I've got a friend I've spent some time trying to get me a company to talk to - she's found it interesting too, I've been careful not to blow my efforts leading her towards giving up - Comment from : Victor Bonassi |

Yes!!! brI’m a polyglot (about 10 languages) and I tend to start talking when I actually am able to speak fluently Before that, I just do like babies in their first year and absorb and absorb and absorb silently and secretly People don’t realize I understand most of the things they say, and since the moment I start talking is when I can actually talk, it’s always funny to see people’s surprised faces when they (and I) realize I’m fluent 😂 Comment from : My violin journey |

here on Brazil is really difficult have organic (or forced) interection with any native speaker of a foreign language kkkk the people don't think on Brazil when they look for oportunites, the good ones, or study and development, there are a lot of people who came for turism, but i don't live on a turistic area, and have no chance of someone pop up and ask: "hey, do you speak english? i need some information" kkkk but still so i'm a B2 english speaker, and learning german while improve the english It's tough, really tough, but i also really love learning another language, so i can deal with Good tips! I will use ^^ Comment from : Maria Helen Pereira de Oliveira Araújo |
