Thank you Tochi for always dishing out valuable content, just a contribution to how we can maximize savings with banks in the UK For instance Halifax bank has got different savings accounts with different interest rate and conditions attached to each savings account I can list about 11 options one can have and still earn interest but I’ll list a few for now and allow you view other options yourself if you have an acc with Lloyds or Halifax brbrSo Halifax has accounts such as Regular Saver acc where you can save £25-£250 monthly with interest rate of 55 paid to you (No withdrawals for 12months) after 1yr you can access your money but you must pay in at least £25 monthly and at most £250 Interest is paid gross brbrHalifax also has ISA accounts where your interest is paid tax free such as ISA BONUS SAVER (this is a variable rate acc with interest rate currently 410 for 3 or less withdrawals in 12months and 135 when you make more than 3 withdrawals) brbrOther ISA accounts where you can’t make withdrawals includes ISA SAVER FIXED 1yr (53) ISA SAVER FIXED 2yrs (535) ISA SAVER FIXED 5yrs (45) There are more but I don’t want to make my comment too long I hope this helps someone 😊brbrAlso there are no age restrictions, to have savings acc in Halifax, you only need to be at least 16yrs brbrI hope this helps someone that is looking at saving 😊 Thank you
