This troubles me because it looks like an antiquated approach It may work and some developmental disability special ed situations situations but it seems entirely not not responsive to the needs of those with Emotional behavioral dysfunction function which is a disability it's addicibility symptom The riskI've applied this toThe emotionally behavioral dysfunction community community is that it's more likely to become a tool for discipline Is people with emotional dysfunction this function have brains that are wired differently and perhaps multiple paths for the same behavior Thus there may be a voluntary cognitive and and an emotional automatic response to particular stimuli The above approach assumes That this population can easily modify their behavior with positive rewards However in this population The individuals Responds to a Is provocative aggressive stimulation Will lead to a response that is related to their disability in which They may be powerless to avoid Perhaps the most beneficial especial tool to assist this population is an empathetic preventative approachBy the institution Versus the approach above which places the responsibility on individualbrbrSecondly this disability is complicated is gaited affecting multi faceted areas of the multi faceted areas of the brain and behavior is regulated both top down and bottom up and some pathways are pathways are literally inhibited And during an emotional Behavioral just regulation response it may be because be because the individual has no access to their executive function Without very specific and accurately targeted therapy and empathetic Preventative structure And other approaches you're gonna be unable to obtain the desired result using the above to address the needs of Those with the emotional disregulation disability
