It was actually a fairly decent and typical Gameboy platformer It was was the story of Jack and the Beanstalk except swapping in Simpsons characters They had some crude but fun origional still image cutscenes and character designs If you ever wanted to see Homer's head on a giant cockroach you could turn to this gameor the treehouse of horror comic book parody of Kafka's metamorphosisI guess bug Homer was something that had to happen more than oncealso Monty Burns as a litteral grumbling storm cloud raining on your parade You jump, climb, shoot enemies with a slingshot, gather power up and seek treasure It's as expected but one of the less crapppy early Simpsons licenced games everyone forgets about There was also this weird glitch that would occasionally invert all colors and make Bart look like Wendle (the Barfy kid from early seasons) until you shut the system off

i really have to give mad props to the themes when you're driving around, i genuinely teared up upon hearing "harbour hustle" again because this game was my childhoodbradditionally, "Homer's Day" and "Bart Goes Downtown" are incredible too, i find myself just humming them randomly

In my opinion, as a kid it was a lot of fun because you don't really point out the repetitiveness in a game, but as I got older it was a bit hard to play cause of the rinse and repeat missions, and the lazy level designs Still a classic nonetheless

Well actually the reason the last 3 missons are the same is because of time constraints this explains why the road leading to burns mansion is cut off it because they had no time to make the hole map halloween themed
