Thanks for breaking down the numbers There were some quantities/weights missed or passed over, but this is close enough It did seem like the store prices were less from the ones that I could see I saw averages of around $5 per pound but I'm sure there were others that I missed Either way, I was planning on buying a half cow locally and this is a good estimate on what I would be paying and receiving Thanks again Comment from : MakeitZUPER |
|

Congrats, brbrThis is a great thing tp do I wish I could do the samebrbrI grew up eating animal organs and intestines You just need to lean how to cook them to your tastebrbrGrowing up, I use tp eat tongue like 3 times each month I have ate organs of cow, deer, chicken, ducks, etc Just need to rediscover the cooking skills of our grandparents No need to be grossed out or allow other people to influence on not eating itbrbrMy mom use to get liver steaks Cooked sauteed in a pan with onions The tongue was cooked sliced like a stew with carrots and potatoes Loved it over white ricebrbrI hope you achieve all your family goalsbrbrAt times during the weekend, I treat myself going to a restaurant and eat tripe soup with veggies and pork feet Comment from : Outdoorsman2b |

OMG THAT IS A LOT!! I’m glad I looked this up lol 😂 I don’t need that much so… I’ll stick to cases of chicken My family of 3 eats maybe 5 roast, 10 ribeye, ground Turkey and beef, chicken and seafood yearly I’m SO glad I saw this!! I bought 5 cases of wings, 5 cases of leg quarters, two tubes of beef today That filled one 7 cubic freezer I got happy and thought about buying half a cow for my mother’s freezer NOPE not going to do it lol 😂 You have inspired me to pay close attention to how much beef we DO eat in a year That way I can judge if I can go half on a cow or smaller in the future with a family member Comment from : Tamara R |
