Thanks for a great review We keep our 80” Sharp, which is ten years old on, 24 hours a day It still works great, but we fear it will die one day I paid $4500 for the tv ten years ago I am afraid to go with OLED because it might not last ten years like our present TV 17:36 Can you please recommend a new model for me? I can go up to $4000 for another 80 “ tv Comment from : Fltrucker |

If you had 2k today to spend on a TV for a basement room thats somewhat darkand TV would have mixed use (COD, movies, TV(sports) what would you get in the 65-75” range? I’ve been looking for a channel like yours and appreciate it! Comment from : bwrick21 |

Your views and comments are clear, succinct and well thought out for the non-professional Another you tube commentator is more focused on the technical aspects/jargon of this topic I realize that his approach has its place but for the everyday consumer in search of valuable commentary you are just great Many thanks Comment from : elchicano65 |

Love this channel I just wish Hisense had a big ass 85 inch h9g, they dont have anything over 65 inch and so picked up Sony x900h from costco for 2000 I could not find an 85 inch tv at 2000 or under with better quality than the sony x900h Comment from : piyush sopory |
Great video, thanks for sharing! Comment from : Gaetan Junior Keya |
LCD will always be the inferior display They were never able to beat plasma and they certainly can't beat OLED It should have been LCD that met it's demise instead of plasma My 11 year old Pioneer Elite 111FD plasma still outperforms the current LCD's Every advantage you gave about OLED goes true for plasma BTW, in eleven years of having my plasma I've had zero burn in So they used that false narrative to boost LCD sales Comment from : Mike Dinno |
This is tough for me as i love both OLED and LED but i want to play games longer without burn in and watch more tv shows without burn in as well Comment from : Dedric Silva |

I got the BX oled 55in for 1398 USD after tax!!! Got a great deal at best buy during the holidays, if i was a a week earlier it be 100 hundred less but i had saved up enough at that point, and sadly the crazy low price of the cx meant it sold out a week before i was ready and had to settle for the BX Comment from : Sean Harriman |
For people to understand, you should provide a picture of an open tv showing the LED backlighting I know what you are talking about because I have actually seen the rear insides of a tv, but many people can't properly visualize in their mind what you are saying Comment from : Claude Desaulniers |
Thorough explanation, but way too redundant Comment from : Coy Dixon |

When i switched from an older LCD 720p to a 1080P LED, i thought the colors were crap, the cathode backlighting was much more pleasing to me, i might have got a bad LED set though but i miss the colors on that old LCD Comment from : OldSnake |

Im looking to upgrade my TV to an 80-85" and not sure the best option for me The TV will be in a bright room and used for streaming content(Mainly sports, Netflix , Prime, etc) Currently im looking at the Samsung Q90T but not sure if there are better TV's in that $$$ range? Any suggestions or is that a good TV? Comment from : Nathan Lewis |

Just got my X900H (55 Inch) yesterday Oh boybrI had Samsung 7-series (55 inch 4k - 2015 model) and X900h is huge improvement (everything is better)brI didn't try the HDR , because am using it on PC, but I'll try it today & seebrPS the VA Panel of Sony X900h is better than I thought, am looking at screen from 2 meters away at 30 degree and I didn't notice any downgrade in screen, it's really close to IPS screen viewing angle ( at least for my old Samsung 55 - 4k TV) Comment from : Jack Sparrow |

Now everyone fears they are missing out on that microLED goodness Comment from : Vamavid |
All I have to say about OLED is LG failed to make it a mass market product 😒😠!!! Most people can't afford the cost of a frinkin used car on a TV, $2,000-$5,000+!!! I'm only interested in consumer products that are financially accessible to the mass market I got a 75 inch HiSense H8G recently, retails for $1,250 at Best Buy, very quality tv, not crazy, outrageously priced Comment from : Jay Holm |
Did you get a new camera or lighting? Video looking clean and crispy my friend 👌 Comment from : Mozarts Ghost |
I'll be getting my first OLED soon (around $1,300 to $1,500), but I'm a little wary about burn-in while gaming Do you have tips to help prevent burn-in As a precaution, should I be turning the TV off every 2-3 hours for about 15-20 minutes? Don't OLED's have some sort of pixel refreshing feature or something? Should I be doing that once a day or week? Thanks for the tips Comment from : TheVitruvianMan |
fomo on another rehashed same, same video I think not Comment from : Z900RS Full Noise |

How does projection tv compare? Comment from : Doug Golde |
Thanks so much! That was very clear and informative That clarity is very much the reason I subscribe to the channel, even though -- because I'm in Europe-- many of your specific TV recommendations are not useful to me This, however, definitely was! Comment from : Hollis Bostick |
Why should there be a debate? brIf you're in a bright room, go with an LCD brIf you are in a darker room, go with OLEDbrDonebrbrand in other news brbrAre you afraid of missing out on the newest "buzzzzzzz"? lol Comment from : The Truman Show |

OLED TV’s get dead pixels faster within weeks or months of usage btw guys because of the safe panel refresh the tv has built inside of it that causes the transistors to die, no one ever states this Comment from : Tyler Kegger |

Great vid, FOMO! I actually have the CX OLED in my bedroom and when the blinds are open, it can get pretty bright My CX still does a great job is displaying images but it lacks when the content is dark I'm ok with it and stick my tongue out when I see my image on the screen Lol!
