Do you have to have a fire sprinkler system to open an assisted living in Maryland? I understand it costs about $15,000 to install a system in a residential home, plus widen the hallways to 60" and have special kitchen hoods? I was told converting a residential house into an ALF is cost prohibitive for the above reasons Unless to go with a residential care home that is Unlicensed for only up to 3 seniors, no more Comment from : Michelle Wilson
