Where did you get the coin book from the exact one Comment from : caca |

Hey Silverpicker, I had a quick question for you (hoping you read the comments people leave) I quit coin roll hunting about 5 years ago but just started up again My first 2 of 3 boxes of halves was a complete bust! The last box though wow! I scored 4 silvers (two 65s that are in amazing condition) but what blew me away the most was out of that box, I scored 32 "s" coins, some of which are perfect (to my amateur eyes) My question, what do I do with the "s" coins? Or even the two 65s? Would you recommend getting stuff graded or just safely stored away? (obviously I have no idea how much it costs to get a coin graded)brbrThanks! Comment from : Beocca |

I thought I bought this one, but I bought the 1982-Modern commemorative dansco type set Well, looks like I’m a full that one up first until I can get the classic commemorative type book Comment from : iPhone 3GS |
|

I would place the best commemorative coins in the commemorative set The commemorative slots in the other album are pretty "whatever" Comment from : S M |
|
Keep your nicer one in the US Type Set, fill this new one with what you have, and upgrade it as opportunities arise in the future! IMHO Comment from : SnoopyDoo |

Although I enjoy several designs from the classic US Commemoratives (with the Chartered Oak design being one of my favorites) I am leaning toward collecting those designs I like of current half dollar modern commemoratives The Negro Leagues Commemorative Uncirculated Half Dollar has sold presently about 9200, the Purple Half Unc Half dollar 12,700 Since 2014, sales of clad half dollar commemoratives have not exceeded 50,000 and most are below 20,000 I would not go running out to buy them all up because the series suffers from uneven quality of coin designs (American Legion and Boystwon featuring some ugly designs), demand is not high on secondary market for most, and the US Mint premium is high But it is still an undervalued series (with the Gold uncs being quite rare although due to the premium to me as undervalued as the half dollar commems) Overall, I get commemorative coin designs I like much and for something I support --- investment potential is a tertiary factor Comment from : alphabet661 Chris Sahar |

Cool! I've been collecting commemoratives as well They have some really nice designs Just got the Illinois centennial Linclon one, and the Grant one is next I hope to get all of them, but that will take years I'd say keep your type set with the most pristine coins I'm sure you will eventually find a Columbus in nicer condition you can trade out Which is your favorite one you have so far? Good luck with collecting these I've started doing just this a few years ago and have accumulated 7 of the early types Some of which were quite pricey but beautiful nonetheless Again, good luck I have a good feeling about this journey Great video as always As far as storing them in what folder ? I'm cheap and keep mine in a 2x2 (3 ring binder) so that I can add what I want, even if it happens to be a few of the same things Just food for thought Comment from : Edward Austin |
