My parents took me there in 1985 right after Seniora de atohca was discorverd!!! I'm from Michigan, so that was quite a road trip by car I remember my dad actually meeting Mel, and he put a huge gold chain and Cross around my dad's neck for a picture!!!! Bucket list goal is to go back

I love this stuffto me, this is just about as wonderful as the King Tut treasure those coins start at about 3-5k EACH for the more worn away ones and up to 20-50k EACH for the really nice ones

I was only in 5th grade when my teacher showed us this National Geographic documentary about Mel Fisher and the Nuestra Señora de AtochabrbrI'm glad that he won that battle with the US government Cause the gold would of probably of been metaled down and we wouldn't see it ever again Thank you for sharing a part of my history(I'm decedent from the Spanish who settled in St Augustine Florida)
