He's correct many customers are worried about the rate, which is undoubtedly important, but many people don't know that many car dealers don't know how to submit a deal That is, to properly structure the deal financially and, based on that structure, know which BANK (NOT BANKS) to submit the deal to for the best approval Most "finance managers" at dealers don't understand this due to inexperience or stupidity brbrGood dealers won't even try to run credit until the customers agree to collateral and deal structure (specific vehicle, money down, trade, monthly payment and loan term) brbrGo to a reputable dealer! The best way to find out is to check out the service department If service is busy and customers are happy, you got a good one

I worked for ALM in Atlanta and we were pressured to make people fill out a credit app BEFORE the test drive Also the finance guys would literally raise hell if an out of state customer had their own financing Like it was our fault the customer wasn’t an informed consumer 😊

Yep Been doing this since the Internet loan game started This way you also can WHILE negotiating, my loan is only for this amount and my payment this, and I don't need to get a loan from the dealer THey will work with you to your price or they will work to get you a better interest rate Either way, stick to the price, because they want to sell the car Also, if you have a good trade in, you can work a better deal on a car because they will make bank twice from you So don't take a cheap amount for your trade in
