McDermid's lack of understanding of the role, the issues, and the possibilities for ACPS is concerning In the town hall, she said something like, "having multiple small, center-based schools in the White Hall area could be a good solution to overpopulation at schools and help the transportation issue" That's simply a laughable, improbable "solution" She does not seem to understand the feasibility of solutions or the workings of ACPS The Center schools are centralized and pull from the entire county, so they are and would be in a central location - certainly not in White Hall (Center II will be in the AHS parking lot) And, if anything, Center schools exacerbate the transportation issue since - again - students come from the entire county If I know that, surely a candidate for ACPS School Board should Comment from : lcbmeslar
