I live in Dominican Republic and those numbers don't match if you live in the city center🙄 if you want to be save and have a social life and still travel trust me that ain't enough (Mid class)brbrUnless is :Evaristo Morales, Piantini, Naco, Espirilla, Ensanche Julieta, Arroyo Hondo Viejo, El MillonbrbrThose places advice are not safe therefore they are cheap as a local I wouldn't rent there stick to Airbnb (The capital is only less dangerous in the Center beyond it you must be more careful)brbrTransportation is not good neither is safe unless is Uber (You will spend a lot)public one ain't safe better rent a car that is why there are so many cars in the country
