Thanks for the info and web address for grading coins I have many coins that I need to guesstimate their grade for their value I started keeping all of my silver coins back in the late 1950s before everyone knew that there was going to be silver taken out of our coins This constitutes hundreds of silver coins, so I have quite a bit of work to do I can remember going to the bank and asking for silver dollars in exchange for a dollar in paper for a dollar in silver The banker would bring out a bag full of uncirculated Morgans some dating as far back as 1878 so that I could pick out the ones that I liked I got as many as I could afford at the time and I still have them Those sure were the days! Even as a child I had an eye toward coin trends, thanks to my Grandmother who helped me out Comment from : William Charles |
