South Africa getting the Soccer World Cup in 2010 was an absolute disaster for us! So much for all the extra money coming in… we did NOT tax the visitors with the usual VAT on ANYTHING so the government made nothing despite spending billions on building new stadiums which have been barely used since As for our small business owners… forget it!
