Unfortunately counterfeiting toonies is profitable at $2 a coin, minus the initial cost of a press and materials This is something governments don't really address when they try to replace higher denomination bills with coins Anti-counterfeit measures only work if people are going to take the time to examine the coins at the banks and remove them from circulation Again very informative James!
