I appreciate the honesty considering the best gold coin is the one that the person can afford to buy Keep up the important work my friend

1000 volts of truth BS buster
The only gold bars I think that make sense for SHTF scenario is the ones that come in 100 grams sheet, but are pre cut to one gram single denomination They make the most amount of sence of you believe you will have to use actual gold as currency in the future to barter or buy things The problem with one solid gold bars in the one ounce, 5 ounce, 10 ounce denomination is realistically thinking of a situation where you might need to spend several thousands of dollars in one single purchase You take a standard br1 oz bar and that equals to approximately to almost $2000 dollars A 5 oz bar is in the $10,000 dollar price rage And a 10 oz bar is absolutely insane category of $20,000 dollar category Now imagine a situation where even in a SHTF situation you need to purchase something in that price range in one purchase Totally unrealistic and most people are not gona have the change to give you back $15,000 or $18,000 back in gold Even a standard 1oz bar or even a coin again is slightly over the top, because most people will not be needing to make $2,000 purchases in one setting on regular basis I think thats where those gold bar sheets make perfect sence You can buy 100 gram sheet, which is slightly over br3 oz of gold, but precut to 1 gram bars So if you need to buy food say for a week, you can break off one or two 1 gram bars, and you now have a realistic value of $60-$120 dollars you can spend on food Need ammo, again, break off one or two bars and a realistic amount for ammo And even if you overpay, and the seller doesn't have change back in gold you won't loose much But trying to buy food with 1oz gold coin or bar is just ridiculous and you will findbit real quickly that almost no one will have the ability to give you change back in gold in the amounts of $1,000, $1,500 or $1,700 dollars So unless you are prepared to loose 90 of you gold, or end up buying way more than you need in hope of selling it to others, you are gona be in a tough spot So fractional are absolutely a necessity in my opinion in that type of situation I still believe you should have 1oz denominational coins or bars, so consolidate and to have the most value in a small package, but I would say 25 should be 1oz or more, 50 should be in quarter oz denomination and finally 25 should be in 1gram or 1/10 oz denomination Thats just my personal opinion Let me know if you guys, agree, disagree Great video, great topic

Freedom Stacker
The 1/10 AGE must be the best gold coin that's the one I buy most often 😆
Comment from : Freedom Stacker

Jason Hastings

Comment from : Jason Hastings

Keepitreal
Excellent content and review What little bit of gold I stashed a few years ago I keep a death grip on Most of the weight is in silver Got the metals bug as a kid and never recovered Nice stack of gold and video Thanks for sharing
Comment from : Keepitreal

J L
To me, 1/4 Once coins is the sweet spot, affordable and the premiums aren't too excessive Lately, I've also been buying some 1/10 once coins as well I think the more important thing in my stacking is dollar cost averaging and being consistent with my purchases
Comment from : J L

Victor Frankenstein
#500 liked…with all these views, how is it that I’m the 500th?? Anyway, I really love the Gold coins, and the reverse proof Eagle too
Comment from : Victor Frankenstein

TRprepper
Thats what she said I've hit my first 100 ounces of silver and looking to get into gold 1/4 oz is my target to start with
Comment from : TRprepper

DavidNefelimSlayer
Size, hmm thoughts, I recall reading a novel by EL Doctorow (not exactly the pen of positivity on the human condition), I believe it was Loon Lake The fat-lady scene, as it does from the brutal detail needed to burn it into a reader’s mind, plays off my memory of the circus fat lady being fucked to death by the townies that humped in between the folds of fat for a quarter a pop until the corpulent lady dies of a stroke Proving that even nihilist lefties like Doctorow don’t really give a damn about fatties No point here just a random recollection
Comment from : DavidNefelimSlayer

Campbells Coins
I'm the 420th like LOL 💨 Anyways, all good points I stack the 1/4oz consistently for the points you mentions and some others If you can grab a full oz, go for it Do what's best for you but for god's sake buy some damn gold now!
Comment from : Campbells Coins

veritasfiles
I agree with you on the 1/4th ounce It's actually my favorite And YES, I love to buy the 22karat coins like the Eagles because they are durable and you can readily handle them without leaving scatches and scars all over the coin I'm glad you're encouraging people to pick up some Gold Good stuff!
Comment from : veritasfiles

krauthead4
It used to be that platinum was more expensive than gold Since they've flipped, I'm wondering if platinum is better than gold Has the government ever confiscated platinum? The down side is it's not as easily traded or recognized as gold Regarding gold, it's been tough for me to buy more than 1/4 oz at a time (I did get 1 gram each for the kids' stockings this year Might as well get them started I've gotten them silver rounds the last few years)
Comment from : krauthead4

Ronaldo Seradilla
Agree that’s the way to put it 👍✌️
Comment from : Ronaldo Seradilla

Jesse Hawthorne
I really appreciate your insight - you actually helped me (finally) decide on a buying strategy I’ve been going back and forth between buying 1oz eagles and buffalos, but I’ve also been interested in diversifying with fractional gold Moving forward I’m going to go for an even volume split of 1oz buffalos (for the 24k and good looks) and fractional eagles (for the liquidity and slightly less good looks) I know that plan might not be very original or eloquent, but I’ve been trying to decide for like a year now haha Keep up the great content!
Comment from : Jesse Hawthorne

Gunnar Gundersen
Once I have 50 Gold Sovereigns I will diversify But I lack the patience to wait 3 months to pick up a 1TOz Gold coin
Comment from : Gunnar Gundersen

danbiss87
The standing liberty 1/4oz are amazing I bought a few of them early on for a good price Wish the us mint made those everyyear as fractionial bullion, just beautiful
Comment from : danbiss87

Hairy Motter
1/4 oz is my sweet spotlove my 1oz but theres a smaller market because they're less affordable for most stackers

Comment from : POOR MANS GOLD

Gold Maple
Australian gold kangaroos/nuggets, and lunar series together with Chinese gold Pandas are the most expensive gold coins here in Canada
Comment from : Gold Maple

Gold Maple
Absolutely right Awesome video Clean Money Your right in saying that the best gold coin and size will depend which country you live in and your budget I live in Canada, so the best gold coin for me (cheapest on a budget) is the Canadian Gold Maple Leaf American Gold Eagles and Buffaloes are more expensive The best coin size for me is the 1/10 oz or the 1/4 oz I also have a couple of 1 ozs
Comment from : Gold Maple

Foster mcadam
I like what you say The best is what you can afford 1/4 ounce seem good to me Even 10 ounce Most people could not afford a one ounce gold coin Plus when you go to sell I would imagine easier to sell of smaller coins Most other channels keep pushing 1 ounce gold I like the way you give the others a chance More achievable for ordinary folk
Comment from : Foster mcadam

snomobila
I like the 1/10 gold kookaburas! Super low mintage, and a super popular series(from the silver aspect) Just missing the 1st year of issue tho
Comment from : snomobila

Silverholic
The most affordable is the 1g I have a few Maplegrams for that reason You are basically paying the price of 2-3 oz of silver for that 1 gram of gold
Comment from : Silverholic

Aloha Stacker
Gold, I love it all! I have my favs, but I really do like to get different types just to enjoy the variety!
Comment from : Aloha Stacker

mAGerAUwsome
The 25 Maplegram set is cool I got a coue of those this year
Comment from : mAGerAUwsome

QuickSilver
That was a good breakdown and explanation I absolutely agree that as inflation continues to eat away at the value of our currency the larger gold coins will be more difficult for the average Joe to afford A couple of decades ago it was a whole lot easier to swing an ounce of gold than it is now Thanks as always for the good info!
Comment from : QuickSilver

Higgy Higgins
Totally agree with you Stack what you like and what you can!
Comment from : Higgy Higgins

Mike W

Comment from : Felix Conlon

Budget Bullion Stacker
I started with grams and 1/10 Now that I have 4 ozt worth of 1/10 and just over 2 ozt in grams I'm spreading out into 1/4 At 3 1/4 oz now I see it as if I ever have to sale or use to barter the smaller fractional will be more useful and more liquid Just my thoughts 🤷🏻‍♂️
Comment from : Budget Bullion Stacker

Prepping With Sarge
good stuff, I try to aim for the 1/4 but have a few of the 1/10 too when it has been a good deal I don't have anything bigger than a 1/2 yet
Comment from : Prepping With Sarge

John Green
Everyone should get a taste of gold I like tenth and quarter ouncers I also love 1, 2, & 25 grams and always will I know people like to bust my balls over grams but I like that size At the last show through a friend I purchased from a lot he gave me PAMP Swiss 1 gram bars for $5500 each How do I pass that up? He got a deal and threw me a bone Gold is Gold and if any size is a good deal buy it
Comment from : John Green

Strong Stacker
Great video clean money, thank you sir
Comment from : Strong Stacker

SalivateMetal
I like 1/4 oz size on a budget There was a day when you could get those for not much more over spot than 1 oz coins
Comment from : SalivateMetal

KB86
How do you feel about stacking fractional Britannia’s? I typically buy eagles and buffalos when it comes to one ounce coins but the premium on fractional Britannia’s is a lot easier to swallow than it is on the fractional eagles
Comment from : KB86

Abraham S Lincoln
Oh yeah, Britches 🇺🇸
Comment from : Abraham S Lincoln

Crypto Johnny
So I have just started 6 months ago and I use my crypto gains to buy gold and silver I purchase what I can but I can’t say I have a fav I buy coins and bars but for gold I tend not to go lower than the 1/10 just as a preference and silver never lower than 1oz but buy both bars and coins I like it all I’m not racist towards one shape or another lol within the gold and silver world At the end of the day it’s all liquid and is a safe buffer if I was ever to run into trouble Btw love your collection you used for the video Nice and clean 👍 thanks
Comment from : Crypto Johnny

Daniyoyo
Your voice is extremely good - perfect tone radio cast voice for sure
Comment from : Daniyoyo

LiquidStacker
Some people hate on the 1/10th oz gold but I think it's a great "entry level" way to get into gold I also have 1 ouncers and still believe the 1/10oz & 1/4oz are the sweet spot sizes (depending on your budget) for the ease of liquidity Great video SB!
Comment from : LiquidStacker

BigSky
Good video, buy what you can afford, and what you like
Comment from : BigSky

Stack All Day
I think that’s the key keep adding to the stack whatever it is but if possible keep it liquid I think a variety is the way to go and not a fan of any bars but that’s just me 1/2 oz maple next on the list
