This is the best welcome to Bangkok video really good I would only add two things since I’ve been to Bangkok a few times 1 On the first floor of the airport there is a secret “street food” food court which would save if you are on a budget check out the sign it’s like street food 2 I would add that it’s very easy to get a bus straight to Pattaya on floor 1 right outside the food court It goes straight from the airport the amazing Pattaya City in under 2 hours paradise ❤❤❤ Comment from : Robert Jung |

Your advice about the money exchange at the airport wasn’t good enoughbrThe best thing to do is only to exchange the least amount possible, just enough to cover your transport into townbrOnce in the city you will benefit from better exchange rates for your currency Comment from : Bwazi |

Being from the UK I carry a Starling card It has a daily limit of £300 on foreign transactions, but you don't pay exchange or transaction Fee's Everyone in Thailand has to pay a 200baht ATM fee (unless you have a Thai account) Ultimately this means you can withdraw 13,000 at the the ATM every day with minimal fee's For a sim card I usually just walk into a 7-11 and buy a True-Move unlimited 5G that lasts 14days I think it costs something like 299 baht LINE + Tinder are useful ;) Comment from : chapmasi |
This is by far the best video I’ve seen to introduce someone going to a new city Your other videos are also really great, but this is seriously fantastic Every major city in the world needs to hire you to do a video like this Comment from : iheartjaypark |

Few things to add If you bring money to conversion booth Make sure they are perfect from the bank with no tears or marks or writing on them They will refuse them if they arent perfect If you bring 200 of 20s They may only accept 60 of that brbrAlso call your hotel if you staying in Bangkok If its near by they will pick you up at the airport for free and take you straight to the hotelbrbrHighly recommend grab if you want a taxi or quick dinner Comment from : Areeya |
So much good information, thank you Does anyone know how to register for Muvmi from the United States? It does not accept my American phone number, so I cannot get past the first screen of the app Coming to Bangkok in three weeks… Comment from : Marty |

I would avoid to get a sim at the airport All those sellers are third party sellers and charge more When I was there I used the free airport internet to talk to family and the next day I just got a sim at the AIS store in the mall for half of what I would have been charged for a 30 day simbrbrAlso get a debit card that refunds transaction fees I used a Charles Schwab debit card Comment from : HN |
