If you can't do the wall kicks, do a backwards somersault onto the building with the placeholder star Next climb the brick pillar (is a bit glitchy) and you can long jump onto the buildings from the walkways

is there a way to go back to the main area once underground in the town area???? i flooded it so i could swim back through the main tunnel but now im stuck bc the water isnt high enough for me swim out of that cagey area where the cannon originally launched me 😭

For anyone in the future having trouble with the wall kicks, make sure you time your jump off the wall correctly Make sure you are pressing it at the apex of the jump It is very easy to do it early or late, just play around with the timing

Tip: to make it to the town easier, jump near the top of the painting, that would set the water level to the highest point

Anyone struggling with the wall kick - remember that you have to hold the button down to make big jumps (same for normal jumps) As soon as I held B instead of tapping it for the wall kicks, it was easy brbrPlaying this now in All Stars, I hate this level!

I just bought 3D all stars for the switch to have some nostalgia and have been working on this level for at least a half hour I cannot for the life of me side jump to the bomb-omb Turns out triple jumping into the painting raises the water so high you can just hop over the black fence thing to get there instead of the Cannon 😒😒 don’t know if the Cannon is needed in any level after this so far but 🤷‍♀️ at least there’s a little help for anyone who was stuck like me!

All that mumbojumbo at the beginning is unnecessary because if you do a back flip HIGHER into the picture (toward the picture frame closest to ceiling) the water is already high enpugh to jump into the caged area to get to the other town part

This is a perfect example of why this game is the most overrated piece of crap ever Between the wall jumpwhich is the WORST way to add difficulty to a video gameand bad camera angles (in a tie for the worst way to add difficulty), it is clear that Nintendo just didn't care about make a REAL game with REAL difficulty This is the start of their "We are targeting the 7 year olds We'll leave the games for ADULTS to the competitors" stage
