2 dead giveaways to reproduction Uncle Sam banks are;  No hole on the bottom for removing coins (there is a door on the back of originals) and his left foot will be at the third line on the platform on originals Another less obvious is they have a red outline on the lapel There is one reproduction made in the '70s that has all these features except the red lapel outline But I believe some originals lack that as well or worn off This is all based on my observations and research Comment from : Ron Filardi
