『 ʚPurrpl Kittyɞ 』
As an Indian I know to speak and understand four languages (English, Hindi, Tamil and Kannada) pretty well but there's room for lots of improvements in Kannada I can read fluently in English and Hindi, Kannada I can read well once I practice, Tamil is a bit hard considering I don't live in Tamil Nadu and didn't get any education in Tamil Writing I'm most fluent in English and Hindi Kannada and Tamil aren't that good, Kannada I make mistakes but I can write but Tamil I can barely write my name correctly In all of this I'm learning Korean! Do I count as Multilingual because I can talk and understand four languages or bilingual because I know 2 languages fluently and the other 2 are a blur I have no idea!

Mahavir Bhakta
Something important to note is that these observations were seen more often when the two or more languages learned by the subject were of greater origin Such as a Sanskrit based language and a Latin based language learned by the same person, this is likely due to (but not confirmed) by the variance in grammar when using the two different languages that forces the brain to do a little more thinking
Comment from : Mahavir Bhakta

Straw
My experience is weird since my 1st language is Navajo and 2nd is english but I mainly speak english and I rarely use Navajo since I don't know how to speak it and I know the navajo context to what my grandparents would say in Navajo but can't translate it from Navajo to English since the english translation from Navajo to English doesn't work well together so I can understand Navajo but can't really translate it to english like if my parents speak to me in Navajo my ears feels fuzzy like I heard the words before and knows what it means but just unable to tranlate it to english
