I understand this lady, it's easier to have your child look as much like you as possible But on the other hand, if an infertile white woman had said "As a white woman, I want a white child", she would have gotten so much backlash for itbrbrIn my opinion, she should be glad there have been women willing to donate their eggs at all, since she clearly doesn't think being the parent of an adopted child would be good enough - when there's tons of black children out there in desperate need of decent parents, but OK I mean, I understand where she's coming from, but her desire to keep the family line black on her end is a racistbrbrAnd I truly wonder if she would have ever agreed to donate as a black woman (or any kind of woman) herself, had she been fertile It's so easy to go around saying what others ought to be doing more when you're the one in need Infertility really appears to give people a sense they have a right to things
