The first thing I noticed about this reel is its weight wwwyoutubecom/post/UgkxM68VkfsQhHaabDce1IwOCXuvumcpbZ_k I wouldn't say it was uncomfortable but it was a little heavier than other similarly sized reels However, that didn't deter my enjoyment of how smooth this reel is I spooled it with 20lb Tuf-Line XP and it's perfect for what I use it for I have it paired with an 8'6" Medium/Fast Okuma SST Salmon/Steelhead rod The combination is perfect for casting and even drifting I used the reel all day and didn't experience any arm or hand fatigue except when fighting a few fish! The bail is solid and feels strong when engaging by reeling and manually closing the bail by hand The large rubber handle grip is very comfortable It's got a powerful drag, silky smooth reeling, and feels very comfortable in the hands I recommend it!

Those bait runner gears are suggar made, I had replaced them twice and 3rd time rather trown away the whole reel Also is a 10+ years old reel not a 2022 In my opinion should add more important facts about description if you want to make a good review and ranking, weight, drag capacity, price range, retrieve/handle, etc

And you would rate ANY of these over the Daiwa Saltist MQ? You gotta be out of your mind if that is the case You know, the saltist is so nice that after buying one I ended up buying the series (2500, 3000, 4000, 5000, 6000, 8000, 10,000, 14,000, 18,000, 20,000), no joke My set up can handle a range from 1lb bluegill to 150+ lb Tuna And your not even giving people the sizes your reviewing with Diawa sizes differ with each series, for example my 6000D Ballistic is about the size of the 5000 Saltist, so sizes only matter within a series As for my opinion, you can't do better than the Saltist MQ, which is Diawas #2 (Most expensive budget line) line (the #1 line being the saltiga (which costs about 333 the cost of the Saltist)) How can you say the BG is #1 when what your showing us is the BG and NOT the BG MQ? (the 2022 model, your suggesting the 2021 for your 2022 review) I hope you actually try out the saltist, but hell lets be honest, all things considered you don't know what your saying and advising and are probably not even a fisherman just sayin
