Bungie already stated there was a cool down period That's fact The cool down is per boss I got two of them on the Valus strike Because there are two DIFFERENT bosses It's not rocket science I got three in a row on the black garden bosses Why? Because each boss was different I waited 15 mins and burned 2 on the boss and he dropped another This is all fact Everyone needs to remember the cool down is for that particular boss Not per coin

People didn't make it up When 3 of coins were first put into the game everyone was using 3 of coins to farm bosses in missions and popping them on after another Bungie released an update saying they put a cool down on 3 of coins cause of that I wasn't 10-15 minutes though It was only 5 in taken king I do think something happened or they changed something in Rise of Iron cause the cool down def isn't there now People aren't making shit up they are just going by what bungie themselves said like a month or 2 after taken king released

you've seen 2 from one boss because they still very rarely drop from bosses 3oC just ups the chance dramatically so that Valus T drop was just lucky rng and I believe the cool down is like 5 min maybe 10 and we have no idea how long that sped up area took you just had lucky rng a couple times

Fooly, you are right about one thing, there is in fact no cool down on the 3oC However there is something you could refer to as a "warm up" you could call it so to speak Where the confusion for people comes in is that when you pop a 3 of coins there seems to be about a 15 minute window in which the closer you are to that 15 minute mark the better your odds are This does not mean 15 minutes are required just your chances are highest AFTER 15 minutes I've gotten back to back on Bond Brothers before It is all RNG yes, but the longer the 3oC is active, the better your chances are That's all it is

People did not make shit up bungie said they nerfed it and two some characters get better luck my warlock and titan get the most drops my hunter gets 1 every 15-20 three of coins if i use them one after the other titan and warlock get them 2-3 three of coin uses all the time oviously iv stopped using my hunter to get them but it has been nerfed bungie has said so the more in a row you use the less often you will get a drop

In a way you right and in a way your wrong ever time you kill an altra you have a chance of getting an exotic like you said but here are the exact patch notesbr*Three of coins now provide a smaller increase in exotic drop chance when rapidly killing ultrasbr*When used with more time between(for example, on strike bosses), they remain as effective as beforbrSo there is a small cool down where if you kill multiple ultras in a row you chances will lower you just got lucky in these videos

there is no cool down but it lowers your chances when you pop 3oC too close in succession for example if it starts off at 20 it'll exponentially decrease, it never reaches 0 but your chances get lower so technically speaking if you are really dam lucky every 3oC usage could potentially get you a exotic engram drop

There is only a cool down if you are trying to farm the same boss over and over Two different bosses you can pop a three of coin Like for example (Bond Brothers) they are two different bosses so you can pop two three off coins and potentially get two exotics, I have done this many times

there is a cool down in terms of the stacking in getting a better chance at an exotic yes you can fucking spam and still get exotics but your chance will be lower but there is no cool down on using them they will always give you a chance at an exotic the cool down is for the stacking effect on the chance to get it so if you use 2 in a short time you dont get an increased chance you get the base chance to get one
