For the elderly this is a really great way to keep their brain active and be social/around others I have only ever played Bingo on holiday or in school to practice numbers in elementary school or later in English or French class to practice vocabulary I think it’s quite fun This hall however somehow appears to be very sad and depressive Maybe it’s because I don’t like too much silence I also wasn’t aware that people really play this for money I thought it was mostly just for fun My brother won an electric kettle at a charity bingo event during his time as an exchange student in chile He couldn’t fit it in his suitcase but the electric kettle at his schools teachers office just broke so he gifted it to them They thought it was hilarious when he told them that he won it at bingo When he now moved into his first own apartment here in Germany, he had to buy a kettle and his Chilean host mum just laughed said: see, I told you you should keep it She also asked if she should steal it back from the school and send it to him (as a joke) 😂 It’s crazy how widespread bingo is Comment from : Ch Gr |
