Okay I got the full story from my father On his Social Security benefits statement it says he’s eligible for a $2,150 per month payment if he requested starting benefits now He’s 66 years and 2 months oldbrHe recently applied for SS retirement benefits using the online application A couple of weeks later, he go an e-mail from SSA saying they “denied” his application brSince he meets the work credits and is over 65, could it be he made an error on his application?

Matt if your earning $20 an hour, you would need to work 82 hours for one credit That would be 328 hours for the four credits

Since when do any recipients under the social Security umbrella have to work and earned income money or credits, to appease, the IRS?brNot only have I never heard of this and I've been on disability for 7 years but if you are someone who is on disability because you're disabled how do they expect you to earn income to appease their ridiculous need for credits!brSOMEBODY on disability, is on it because they're disabled!brGive me a f*b***/b break l!brAnd besides it's my money that I earned when I worked so if I want it I'm going to get it and I'm not going to let the IRS or SSA tell me that I need to do something for them in order to earn what I've already earned

Hello matt I want to thank you and your wife for all that you do to help us understand this cruel government that we have know and let me say that I get 841 a month but I am paying back money that I won't money and they take 10 a month so I am reduced to 831 but it's a shame this day and age that they are still doing the same thing that they have been doing from the beginning I am 60 and I have 49 credits I didn't know that I had since 2000 know I have been fighting and they tell me I had to have worked 5 of the last 10 years before becoming disable well how can I if I have been fighting them for 10 years I worked hard some times 2 and 3 jobs to pay into the social security retirement funds to retire on come on and they don't want to give it to me and know they have changed the retirement age and thinking about changing it again it's a shame but they can give over 50 billion dollars to Ukraine I did thought it was we the poeple of the United States of America

And one thing if you work as a foster parent that is not considered work they do not take your job as a foster parent as a job so you cannot consider that as anything but giving your time I did that and when I stopped working because of an injury after I had moved to Florida with my adopted children that I had fostered I ended up finding out that the years I was a foster parent do not count and it was like I have no work record So my Social Security was low due to the last 10 years that they count I had at least six years or more that I had frosted And with young children the rest of the time I was just working a short time before I was injured Engine but due to the fact that I was shepherding my children as they called it they did not allow me to have disability they had taken pictures of me taking care of my children and sitting while I tried to clean out my van with my bad back doing absolutely nothing wrong except for trying to take care of my young ones As if I am supposed to just let them take care of themselves

Matt I'm 65 years old I've been on SSI since I was about 52 I got hurt and couldn't work any longer what can I do to earn more credits that I need to complete 40 I only had 32 or 36 rather credit s when I got hurt is there anything I can do to obtain to 40 so I can go off SSI and get more money or am I better off staying on SSI please help me

This is why my husband only gets $200 a month on the 3rd he gets it for the retirement ain't that terrible it's only new that he was only going to get $200 I would have told Social Security right in front of my husband when we were at the Social Security office in person when he was 62 years old on his birthday when we came in there I would have told them to keep that $200 I won't even want that because that is not enough for his retirement age I feel that's true disgusting

Hey sir I need to ask you a question this is Mrs Garza escribe to your Channel Mrs Ruth Garza you said that we have to have 40 quarters to get our income higher I think it's hard because of Congress right this is a weird part when we used to go to Social Security everybody I hope this man he is my mom's been retired in 62 when he is not supposed to retire at that time Social Security threatened them and said if you did not retire early when his birthday came they were cut off his benefits that was right there in this city the weird part is everybody they told us at the Social Security office and West Palm Beach Florida on Dixie Highway across the street from the apartment and Children and Family Services they said that my husband needed 10 quarters and he had the requirement for 10 quarters for a retirement age but the weird part is because my husband was working on the books and off the books they said on the table there's a way before I met him they asked him do you have the receipts and all the receipts when you worked from all your employees from your employers even when he was up north in Texas Houston Texas and he did not have it because you lost it
