Interesting points, I disagree though 1) Much of the world still uses cash as a form of paying for goods and services Western worlds are the exception here Many third world countries use this as a primary means 2) I don't believe we are anywhere near going to a cashless society within 10 years They've brought this up in places like CA already and it was voted down as the concern for those who utilize cash on a daily basis I'm referring to those who are typically living in the lower financial brackets Many in that range don't even have banks or debit/credit cards 3) I especially don't believe we will be shifting to using cryptocurrency within 10 years either The federal government has shut that down multiple times Deregulating the banking system (one of crypto's main goal) isn't going to happen anytime soon The bad rep it got from the dark web has left a sour taste in many gov officials 4) If it did I feel that the paper currency market would actually do better than it is now It's simple supply and demand economics If less of it is available the chances of desire tends to swing towards it driving costs5) The request for cash during Covid 19 has actually increased It hasn’t had a spike as such in America since 911 There’s some interesting articles on it available
