Jesse Castillo
Love all these book I have them all in my PC even though not in high grade Very happy to own them Great video good job
Comment from : Jesse Castillo

boddahboom
Great Content The only thing I think would be more interesting/engaging would be to reveal the pricing from the bottom up - 2012 to 2017 to 2022 It gives a better feel for the growth of these books rather than it feeling like they are going down when you are going from highest to lowest (even though that is not what is actually happening) Otherwise these videos are very informative The graphics with the 5 and 10 year return and comparison to The Dow, S&P, etc are very cool Keep up the great work!
Comment from : boddahboom

blastaar1
Hi David , I have Amazing Spider-man 129, And Incredible Hulks 180 and 181 Not mint , How can I sell these ?
Comment from : blastaar1

Comment from : courtney pickett

Chris
It's clear ghost rider was stolen from the the 60s western I own both first appearances (MS #5 in very high grade) but always considered the western "1st Carter appearance" the first ghost rider appearance personally
Comment from : Chris

John Watt
Can you do a specific episode some time discussing whether it makes a difference to invest in low grades vs higher grades (assuming similar prices) ? For example a GSX 1in 98 and AF15 in 30 are roughly $30k Supply is scarce for both, but which makes a better investment?
Comment from : John Watt

Shepherds Knoll
You make the same mistake that many art dealers make , you are looking at a five or ten year return If your return is annualized you will see a book like the House of Secrets gets only a 10 annualized return over five years I look for books that get 25-30 annualized return over 4-5 years, there are many
Comment from : Shepherds Knoll

Mike S
Wish my hulk 181 55 was a 98 :(
Comment from : Mike S

When you do your research for the value of a comic book who do you pay attention to? Covrprice, ebay, hipcomic They all have a different price value for the comic book
Comment from : Emmett Robinson

Comment from : elizabeth scott

Jon G
No rants? Where's the rant? I want my rant! Ive only got the 181 Dont care too much about the rest
Comment from : Jon G

CJ
I only have 5 of the 10brHowever, I lost all interest in Star Wars years ago so I wouldn’t even buy that one Also, I have 181 so 180 becomes less important to pursuebrBut still, it would be nice to have them all At least in mid or higher grade
Comment from : CJ

Tim Elkins
Great Video Dave! I prefer this type of contentbrI only have one comic from the list: a 60 of the first appearance of Blade that I got on eBay 18 years ago for around $100 Unfortunately for me, most of these books are now out of my price range
Comment from : Tim Elkins

ComicBook Ninja
I had/have all of these at one time or another but I never owned a Marvel Spotlight 5 That was the most elusive for me

RPRsChannel
biA note:/i/bbrbiHulk 181, CGC 99, sold for $150,000 at ComicConnect in 2011/i/bbrbiIf this book comes up for auction in 2024, it's a safe bet it will get $300,000+/i/bbrbi$300K is a very safe estimate, it might land on $500,000-there's only 1 Hulk 181 in the world that is a CGC 99/i/b
Comment from : RPRsChannel

Dan Schawbel
The editing has improved, keep it up 😊
Comment from : Dan Schawbel

Rhys Morris
NIce list I'd lower Star Wars 1 considering the number of graded copies Maybe have it swap spots with House of Secrets 92 Personally I'd dump 1st Phoenix and 1st Wolverine cameo for Hero for Hire 1 and Marvel Premiere 15 There maybe a time in the not too distant future that Scooby Doo 1 and John Stewart make this list Great review
Comment from : Rhys Morris

Dire Needs
Had an Amazing Spiderman 129 graded by CGC at 70 Think I sold it for $950 It got crushed by a forklift at the post office Lesson: always get the insurance, which I did 🤪
Comment from : Dire Needs

Comment from : Christian Tolliver

David Samuelson
I have all of those (many multiples) - but I’ve been at this for 40+ years, when you could actually afford them
Comment from : David Samuelson

Michael Tan
7 out of 10 no ghost rider, house of mystery and hulk 180 No desire to pick up 180 if you already have 181 Ghost rider 1 might be more budget friendly than marvel spotlight 5 Thanks for the list 🤗
Comment from : Michael Tan

Thomas Palmer
I don't think Giant-Size X-Men #1 should have been on the list The book has been dropping like a rock I bought a CGC 85 about 3 years ago and wish I hadn't Ditto for ASM #129 That's another book that's been dropping precipitously, and I'd definitely avoid it all costs! In fact, Bronze Age key books are bad investments unless you are willing to hold onto them for many years!
Comment from : Thomas Palmer

Holy Harlot
good one
Comment from : Holy Harlot

DA HOBBYISTS
I disagree with the wolvie comment!!! IT WAS ANDY OLSON FOOM #2 who created wolverine which was stolen by marvel!!!

L Champ
Great video topic I’ve been collecting for 35 years I own them all in mid to high grade except the for the Hulk 180 and Star Wars 1 😅 Ironically, I started my comic book collecting hobby with a run of Star Wars given to me by my dad
Comment from : L Champ

Michael Yablon
As an 80s child I would often see those Bronze age books on the LCS wall They were unobtainable due to not having the money to get them These books are where I spend my money these days
Comment from : Michael Yablon

J Ballard
I wish I had any one on that list, esp 129&181
Comment from : J Ballard

rocketfighter8
I picked up 5 of the 10 in high grades in the early to mid 2010's before they became too expensive
Comment from : rocketfighter8

Scott Schram
