I know the feeling like everything is rigged against you I don't play nearly as many tournaments nor as much poker as you in general, but I did play the WSOP events at Graton casino in Nor Cal about a month ago I consider myself to be decent (my stats show I'm a winning cash game player and maybe a break even tourney player over the years), but after firing 16 bullets over 8 different events, just getting bad beat after bad beat on every single bullet, it was demoralizing as hell and it definitely felt like the "poker gods" (if you will) were against me Didn't even cash once It was a horrible feeling and kind of turned me off to tournaments I simply couldn't believe how bad I ran You know how people criticize online poker for the ridiculous bad beats? It was just like that, over and over again, but live Aces cracked constantly, my set losing to a higher set, my over pair getting crushed by an under pair making a set on the river, etc etc Anyways, I guess that's just how the variance goes I'll just take some time off tournaments for awhile and try again whenever another series comes along
