Had an idea for a business found something similar but done way differently and just wrong, the cost to build it was 800 million dollars br100 sure the ideas solid but would require engineering to really dial in its potential The idea is quite different from the example I found but its similar enough that I'm worried about patents I'm personally just a carpenter and wasn't really thinking of starting a business but now I feel like this business could be something special and the world could really use it Not sure where to go from here Try to make a basic model ? Hire an engineering firm to develop the idea ? Look at getting a patent ?brTy for any comments that can point me in the right direction

It still comes down to: it takes money to make money, if you produce a product to sell, it takes money to buy materials, and some people, because of variables uninvited, beyond their control, has them gripped in such a state of poverty that they cannot move forward You can have wise knowledge on what, when, how, pertaining to a wise financial venture, but you will still need startup capital I can tell you where to pan and find gold, but you will still need money to buy the pan You can attend seminars all day long, but the 5 thousand dollars you spend to hear some hype talk, would had been better spent on buying what you need to start up a business

If one just started his own company, and the first costs presumably 150000€, for what so ever need to be paid, would you recommend going directly to angel investors and present them your idea, for which you by the time have no number in place, and for which you can only come up with estimations, or would you start by collecting this money by crowdfunding, start selling and contact those investors the moment you need more capital to expand?
