If you have a theme park package you get a limited number of free rounds of mini golf There are some cool magical extras with a package You can even get a basic package with a room only reservation The cancelation is the same as a package but you get the benefits of a package if you don't need tickets Comment from : Ang D |
Would love input from folks: we’re going in jun for 10days (8 park days) Reserved AOA suite (family of 6, but all teenagers) With that said, I picked up on the comment about the Dolphin and swan resort is walking distance for two of the parks… I really I that thought as it would making getting to and from the parks so much easier… should I reconsider where we stay??? Comment from : B Man |
Where can I find the list of hotels that aren't in property but are linked with early morning entry with WDW? Comment from : Noemi Rivera |

Hi AJ brIs there any word yet on the Disney dinning plan yet ? My mum and I are hopefully going to Disney world this coming December 2022 and we are really hoping that it is back by than It is such a awesome perk for Disney to get more guests to stay on their resorts Comment from : michelle bowers |
Don’t go at all and Save more Comment from : Florida or bust |
DVC has saved us a ton It cost a ton upfront, but we travel shorter trips (5-6 days) and travel during cheaper months On 300 points, we had 5 separate stays in a year’s time Bay Lake Tower, Poly, Grand, animal kingdom lodge and boardwalk No values here Comment from : D Rookard |
Don't go Save loads! Comment from : Dave Pitts |
Can someone help me? I cannot find anything on WDW website that says that good neighbor hotels offer early morning entry Can someone tell me where it says that? thanks Comment from : TheJordanFamilyNJ |
Want to save money? Just stay at any hotel or resort in the Kissimmee area (just 10 to 15 minutes away from the parks), just pay from $500 to $1000 a WEEK for 1 bedroom or 2 bedroom suite with full kitchen and everything Most of the good resorts also offer free shuttle to Disney and Universal so no need to pay $25 a day in parking I recommend plsces like Sheraton Vistana, Holiday Inn Club at Orange Lake, Club Wyndham, etc Buy food, drinks and snacks at a supermarket like Publix or Target Yes, the Disney bubble is a more magic experience, but not worth for most Comment from : Emiliano Sandler |
The gondolas make it worth staying at one of the resorts that have them In my opinion There so convenient Comment from : Ramsay Bolton |
What is Disney’s policy on enforcing children to purchase a theme park ticket My nephew is almost 4 years old and my sister refuses to to buy him his own annual pass I tell her it’s very unethical and fraudulent and I wish there was a way a cast member would question her when she scans her AP Comment from : P JB |
Since when did the “bounce back option” re-emerge? I was staying at POP in early December and they told me that option has not come back I am really upset that if it was available the Cast Members at the resort told me no Comment from : mary dabulis |
Yay! Love these videos!! Comment from : Jana Kemmere |
Where is the camera at 14:46? I don't recognize it Comment from : Mark Stoessel |
Thank you SO MUCH AJ for all your work! It helps so much to keep up to date on the many changes in planning Disney trips! Please also keep making the "printouts"! These are GREAT! Have a blessed new year! Comment from : D Martin |
Do you get a discount for having a Landrys club card? I don’t see that in their club perk details Comment from : A S |
Bounceback Offer only for the same location right not for DL CA or DL PARIS unfortunately I guess would be funny and sweet if you could book some other Park Resort but only the same I guess but would be some Idea for Disney to do that would be not quite the same with the cheaper aspect but would be something Comment from : MrChrisDanger |
Didn´t give the new Reserve Hotel from Swan and Dolphin the same Amenities as well I think they also give you those right??? guess you forget that AJ??? Comment from : MrChrisDanger |
Can you do a video specifically on Disney Springs? I keep trying to search for one and there don’t seem to be any recent ones! Would love some dfb guidance! Comment from : Brittany Stine |
A warning about the free water for people not from Florida… The tap water there tastes very bad Use a grocery delivery service to get a couple cases of water and save a ton on bottled water :) Comment from : Slark |
It's thanks to all of your tips videos over the past couple of years that I took the plunge last year and started saving to book my very first Disneyworld trip Now I'm less than 2 weeks away from my trip & I've saved a considerable amount of money by following your advice to go in January, when tbh the weather will still be better than what we have in the UK ^^ Comment from : xoxoNateJennyxoxo |
Possible unpopular opinion warning Proceed with caution brbrSit down restaurant meals at Disney (Land or World) are not worth it They take up big chunks of time and are generally quite expensive Much rather grab a corn dog and churro and explore the parks than take an hour or more to sit down and eat in a restaurant All about time management and maximising the excitement brbr‘’Yes I agree entirely and would like to sign up for your newsletter” or “nah fool, you’re the mayor of wrong town”? Come at me peeps Comment from : devonport1978 |
Are the water fountains with fill stations filtered or “Florida” water 😬? Comment from : Jessica King |
Been watching your channel for a few years now and idk when ill be alble to go Disney world again but you and the team really keep me updated! I reccomend everyone to you guys, heck im always learning something new! Comment from : LooneyToasty Wolf |
VIDEO IDEA: and a really important one, do a vid on how to make the most in Disney World if you DO miss your reservation window, if you do a spontaneous last minute trip, or even for people who are new to Disney and didn't understand the reservation system, and now it's a week until their trip and almost everything is booked! Talk about lounges, walk ups and whatever tips you know that I don't! Comment from : gamefish32 |
Soon Disney will charge you a per person fee to walk in the parks!!!! They have gotten ridiculous Maybe a fee to throw away the trash from food you just bought from them!!!! Comment from : HHGHOST |
Do you know? Are they offering bounce back offers for 2022?brI am planning a small trip to Orlando in feb and a larger trip in Oct/Nov This will be a game changer if they have this offer available If I stay at a Disney hotel or a universal hotel Comment from : Jenn Gordon |
I wish I found this channel before I booked my trip lol! I’m at Disney now and have to say this channel is amazing! Also, magic kingdom seemed super busy to me on Tuesday 1/3 I just thought because Disney wants folks to wear masks indoors and they now know what day your visiting which park, they would cap attendance (which I know they do) but lines were long Aladdin’s magic carpet ride was a 40 min wait around 10:15am, which I have never seen before! Comment from : sckiller |
Is there any word on when the Dining Plan will be back if ever? Comment from : Jaice Guillot |
I have been going to WDW since 1997 and have been a DVC member since 2001 My wife and I have always put money aside all year long for our annual trip We know it's expensive to go, but we have always been prepared to spend what was necessary to enjoy ourselves without scrimping too much There have always been some things that we skipped just because it was outside the budget for the trip Special BTS tours, for example Always wanted to Never did it Just couldn't swing the cost brWell, the most recent changes to the WDW experience forced on guests have finally robbed us of any opportunity to have a really good time My kids are grown, so it's just my wife and I As a result, we no longer visit the parks We stay in relatively luxurious rooms at the DVC resorts, and they are awesome! So from now on, we're just hanging around the pool, swimming and sipping margaritas Maybe a table service meal once or twice during the visit, otherwise most food is basically just sandwiches and snacks, also consumed in a lounge chair Or back at the room But the parks have been devastated by so many poor management decisions that we just can't justify a visit there any more Disney still offers "value" resorts, but they have made it abundantly clear that they no longer cater to "budget" guests any more I can hardly imagine how big a hit it would be on the yearly budget for a young family with small children The parents haven't reached their max earning potential, so they are only a rung or two above entry level at work Rent and child care take the biggest bite out of the bank account When I was that age, it was not in the cards to visit WDW When I first started going, my kids were very young, but I was almost 40 and entering middle management level for earnings I could afford the parks I can't any longer brI was hoping to spend these years taking my grandchildren, but Disney has priced me right out of that Sadly, to keep attendance down, especially on peak crowd days, they have priced everything at a level above which I can comfortably afford I took them in January 2021, and I may again in 2023 But I predict that will be the last time I can afford to do so, and I am cutting into my retirement money to do it Sad My kids have such wonderful memories of our Disney trips But the good times they remember can't be had any more regardless of what you pay My grandkids deserve better than what Walt Disney World has to offer now Perhaps we'll start a new tradition of staying in DVC rooms on Disney property but exploring what Orlando has to offer off campus? It is something we are starting to think about Comment from : badbiker666 |
I started to watch you in January 2020 and I got surprised with a trip to Disney World!!! Thank you for posting all your tips, tricks, hotel reviews, food reviews, ride maintenance updates, etc… Comment from : Gods-silliest-goose |
A good suggestion with the free water is to bring MiO drink things to drop in your water also Comment from : Chris Macfarran |
Don’t go to Walt Disney world because WDW gives you less while paying more money Take the money and save for your future? Comment from : Alfred Giovetti |
I don't know if the pandemic has made this perk stop but if you stay at a Disney World Resort you can get a $150 gift card for sitting through a Disney Vacation Club tour, if you have two properties or family/friends who you travel with they two can get their own $150 gift card and be on the tour, that's $300 dollars all of which you can earn on your non-park day If you smart and one know Disney and two know whether you and your family would purchase, the tour is only 60 minutes and their van can drop you off anywhere after the tour Comment from : Jesse Rubizovsky |
Best way to save money is to stay as far away from Disney as you can Comment from : igocrazy99 |
Best way to save $$ is to NOT go since they keep getting rid of things but the prices keep going up Comment from : Chris |
Don’t go…punish Chapek and DIS for their money grab paid fast pass, ceasing magical express, price hikes despite no parades and no meet and greets during the pandemic etc…they deserve huge losses and mass firings Comment from : John P |
After get booster shot Comment from : Matthew Hahn |

There has never been a corporation more greedy Comment from : Russ Hendrix |
If I’m not eligible for extended hours, could regular passholders just shop and dine at places that are open during that time? Or do we need to exit the park? Comment from : Beauty from Ashes |
Do these suggestsions work at Disneyland as well? I live on the west coast and just got a Magic Key for Christmas Comment from : Bryant Bodnar |
I'm going to save money on the ridiculous pricing at Disney by waving as I drive by on my way to Universal Comment from : Paul Simpson |

Do you guys have a blog post about where the water refill stations are? If not I’d love to see one! brAlso, I really wish it was ‘searchable’ in the app because I love the gps/map feature 😅 Comment from : Sierra Mortensen |
Don't talk to me about Landry's! Yak & Yeti has seated Landry members who walk in before those who have been waiting for 30-60 minutes And Landry closed their only restaurant in my city so I have no reason to join Comment from : Richard Mercer |

I read the theatre seats around 1800 Comment from : JE Kurzynski |

Just wanted say thank DFB Last trip I had with my family was the best And I thank you guys You guys set me up for success And here I am studying up for this years trip! Keep up the great work! Comment from : William Rizzo |
To add to that character dining, some “good neighbor” resorts have/had character dining as well We stayed at the Hilton by Disney Springs in 2015, and they had a character breakfast at a cheaper price You did not know who you were going to get however While we were waiting for a table, I saw Brer Bear and Brer Fox running around Cool, though I doubt most people there didn’t even know what movie they were from, let alone seen it When we got our table, it was Pluto and Minnie We were in line at the buffet when Minnie stepped out of the kitchen doors in front of us The look on our 2yos face was worth all that wait Comment from : UmmYeahOk |
i cant wait !! i leave the 15th:) Comment from : tiki audioz |
Is the Disney Dinning Plan going to come back? I had it when I went in 2018 Love it cause I didn’t have to save for food Comment from : Tiffinay Reed |
I tried to do a bounce back last September I stayed at AOA for over a week We were told it has been a long time since they have had bounce back offers and they do not know when it will be offered again We dialed the number and asked a cast member It would be wonderful if Disney added this perk back I have two trips scheduled this year which were booked days after I left in September 🙃 Comment from : MicheDCarter |
AJ can you do a video ranking or reviewing the best good neighbor hotels and their perks? I’ve found that they’re not all created equal For example, their website might list free transportation to Disney parks, but when you get there you find out the bus only goes once or twice a day, which really limits how much you can plan your park days and even use DFB tips like going back to your hotel in the middle of the day I’d also love to know which good neighbor hotels have the best food, the best pools, the best free activities for kids, etc Comment from : Jessica Snow |
I love saving money!! Saving money can pay for it’s self in the long run :D more merch and fun snacks Comment from : nioxian lerma |
I’m so excited to go back to disney! I went in September and I couldn’t resist booking again Sadly no season pass offerings but when they offer it again I’ll be buying so worth it Comment from : Thelegendofkate |
Just gonna toss this out there Saving apps are how a bunch of scrape together the funds for these trips DFB, it might be worth it to mention a few Comment from : Destiny Captain |
Don't eat in the parks That saves you lots of money I'm going in Oct when it's less crowded and not a lot of rain That's means a lot to me Comment from : liane layman |
We brought most of our own food and stayed at a good neighbor hotel and we had the best time! 😀❤️😊 We did a garden grill dinner and that was so fun too! This channel helped us so so much make our trip as affordable and smooth as possible 😊😀 Comment from : Courageously Kristen |
