Sir ,when I first came found your you tube site I felt that you were another coin shop owner that was just making excuses why a shop owner pays the lowest prices for what had just walked in Today I find that your shop is reasonably making a profit (brick and mortar) I also after watching many of your videos, that y’all are looking to make a profit at a fair price Thank you for being reasonable and explaining how the coin world works to the public Fortunes are made by business men, but TRUE coin dealers are in it to win you get my thumps up for being reasonable , as per your videos good luck and god bless and except my apologies

I went to a PCGS authorized coin dealer and before I even pulled out my coins he said he wasn’t even that into nickels While he was “assessing” he didn’t even look at the reverse And just said some mumbo jumbo Terrible experience ! I just wanted to know about my coin I wasn’t trying to sell

the best advise I would go by is visit the store make some small purchases go home do some research if someone over charging call them out I hate paying retail on any coins period but this guy had the balls to charge me 35 dollars for 10 dollars 1937 - Coyne-Towers Canada with a mintage of 90,000,000 nothing special g-vg the best he wanted 35 for a bank note worth 15-20 bucks tops I walked out as quickly as I went in over charging me on items in a pawn shop is a joke next time I go in im going to be straight with him and tell him he's over pricing everything

Very true I would add to any dealer out there, to look out for , is the growing diversity of people who love coins or collecting I think you open doors when you show the up most respect to every individual who walks into your shop regardless of ethnicity, religion or skin color You never know who might walk into your shop I would hate to see that one person you mistreat and let go , be a millionaire looking for business

Alot of coin dealers have tunnel vision catch them at the wrong time with whatever coin you have it could be worth thousands! They don't even look at it tell you its worthless and they go back to their gold egals or whatever, ive seen that a few times made me excited because he was researching my gold coin but however if he simply looked at the other guys coin it could of been worth god knows how much Patience is key on both ends for successful experience

Thanks Daniel for the video when I met my dealer I didn't know anything about coins I found a 1927 s peace dollar at the flea market it was a slick but I thought I had a winning lottery ticket coin Bill smiled and told what it was worth and explained the Peace Dollar history and showed me other American dollars and explained there history like a big fat trout the hook was in, and ten years later I still enjoy learning about coins and Daniel your videos are very helpful and informative too

My dealer sold me 14 French indochina 20 cent coins from 1901 to 1924, all fake, supposed to weigh 54 grams and weighed 44 grams I've only been collecting for a year and I was able to tell they were fake as soon as I got home and googled He seemed upset and reluctantly refunded me He's usually a pretty cool old dude, always throws in an extra silver dime or quarter with junk I buy It just seems odd that he didn't know I'm going to still go there I'm just wondering if he sold them to me knowing they were bogus Thoughts?
