Baking Soda, salt, aluminum foil and hot water Cost is nil and looks as good as your coins I intentionally bought a nasty, beat up silver Eagle just to try it out It worked pretty well but I would not recommend it for anything but a badly stained coin I also bought some 1/2 ounce rounds that had some rusty looking stains on their edges and faces It cleaned them right up I also took off some milk spots from some coins and rounds with a soft white eraser (Staedtler Mars - get them at an art supplies or office supplies store) and they cleaned up nicely I would only recommend this for bullion coins and rounds that you want to look nice for resale/trade that aren't in good shape to begin with Comment from : John McGowan |
Always clean up my 90 when I first get it Just a little dish soap and water There just seems to be a lot of crud on them The soap and water doesn't change the color or anything and might not even make it more sanitary, but it puts my mind at ease Comment from : mrhopkinsd |

For 22k gold I found that letting them soak in boiling hot water for 10 minutes will also restore golds lustre if it's looking a bit dull or faded brbrNo chemicals required For circulated coins you can also give them a gentle rubbing with the thumb while under the tap after they've been soaked in boiling water You can also do this for constitutional silver if you want to remove grime while leaving the natural toning alone Comment from : A Y |
I'd never clean a coin I was collecting But I dont collect coins I stack silver Comment from : Jose Nazario |

I would be lying if I said I've never cleaned a coin, but it was only a couple and it was a few years ago I did the baking soda trick I've grown to love toning and even wear and grim on old silver dollars To me if you really want them you can find blast white shinny coins, but I dig the age to silver that has just aged over time Comment from : David Graney |

Like most other things, I've got to hop in and help you with efficiency Grab a brass wire brush on a drill head and a little clear coat rubbing compound from the auto store and within 10 seconds proof like finish for the highest grades you can get at PCGS and NGC On Ebay they fetch hundreds!!!! brbrWhile we're at it you should also consider coin roll hunting instead of auctions If you polished up the coins as you find them people would pay so much more than $500 for you to dig through a roll of pre-searched pocket change Just sayin Comment from : Director of Awesome |
This just started yesterday, but all of your videos are showing as nothing but a plain green screen to me The audio is also horrible This isnt happening on any other channels so I must have accidentally changed a setting somewhere Anybody have this happen before and possibly have a fix?
