It's smart do do what you said, however, your math was wrong You took the 90k+ from the 4 years and did the 10 from that That's $750 a month which is around 45 of your monthly pag for a first year E1 10 would actually be about $150-220 a month for the entire 4 years also, tsp compounds annually, and even at $500 for all 20 years at 7 interest, you'll only end up with 245k after 20 years Comment from : Michael Bush
