I picked up 10 face of the mercury dimes and found 14 denver minted dimes in them worth 5-15 times more than the silver content A few of those paid off the entire price of the 100 dimes haha

The USD had lost 93 of its value and lookingbat the price of constitutional is a great measure of that When 10 cents of silver/a mercury dime is now around 2 dollars in silver thats 20x less buying power in your usd Theres definitely other reasons but thats the main take away and a pretty good measure of the inflation Also, the fact that the dime is worth the silver price and not the face value, thats also a great examole of the proof that silver is inherently valuable and a great hedge against inflation If that wasnt trueconstitutional would only be worth face value This is probably one of the reasons i love junk silver so much Its a perfect example of these ideas and the value of silver being inherent

Constitutional is also more rare since it's not still being stamped and ppl will pay a higher premium for it over the silver rounds that are stamped daily It's just cooler too I find myself looking at my constitutional much more often than I look at my prestine maples pr eagles or buffalos

Silver as of today is $23, a 1964 half dollar is going for about $13 if bought on eBay If you think silver will hit $50 don't worry too much about overpaying a buck or two, right now, for 90 silver When silver hits fifty bucks, half dollars will sell for 26 dollars If you overpaid and bought them at 15 and sell them for 26, you're still ahead of the game !!

halves have always been my favorite it’s only recently that dealers have started charging more for them as long as they don’t cost more i prefer benjis in bulk due to less wear but i do love to cherry pick walkers i have always avoided kennedys not because i don’t like the design, but i hate having to verify the date each time as a whole, they do have little wear but it’s still a pass for me

It makes me cringe every time that you juggle or drop or just generally throw the coins around These are currency and they do have more than silver value, but every scratch or nick that they get lowers their value even more If any of those coins were MS or AU , well they’re not anymore brSo if you want to stack silver, stack bars or rounds or some other type of silver but if you somehow come into silver coins and get them checked out before you toss them into a cigar box Some of them may only be worth x times face while others may be worth 5,10, or even more

Wow you must not have never collected war nickels I have sold over 12,000 of them just in last year to multiple online dealers that are drooling to get there hands on them Go look around they are sold out everywhere Nothing and I mean nothing has made me more money than my war nickels in past year Monument recently paid me 3 dollars over spot for agreeing to sell them 5000 at once Yes they are a pain to manage due to the weight but man you can't find anything other than kilo bars or higher as close to spot than these great nickels and dealers want them BAD
