ZPAP's are really cheap for what you are getting The AK's to beat is the Arsenal ($$$), Krebs ($$$$), Polytech legend ($$$$$), VEPR ($$$$) Saiga ($$$) ZPAP's quality has been top notch and defiantly hangs with the rare and or highly sought after AK's in quality WASR's can be great too, just look super close at the rifle before buying for things like mag well (Make sure it seats steel mags) and canted sightsbrbr762x39 is still pretty cheap, however the rifles are anything but AR's can be built for under $600 right now

PSA Generation 5 AK Rifles are excellent! They have FN chrome lined barrels There have been issues with firing pin breakage but that has largely been corrected

Good list I've always wanted an Arsenal I have a MAK 90, and MAK 91 The 91 came in 223/556, and uses the super rare polytech magazine Both are awesome and I would never give them up Even better, I picked them up in 94 for $600 for the pair, and they came with a butt load of magazines The grenade launching Yugo m70 is another I made from a parts kit, but mine uses a milled receiver It's as solid as they come The one you didn't have on the list was the Polish AKM underfolder The original ones from the 80's were excellent I really wish the parts kits still came with the barrel Those barrels are top notch brAll import bans should be eliminated
