I don’t judge women for doing things to our faces to look younger — lord knows I spend a boatload on skincare — but it does make me sad that as women our value decreases as we age We are expected to look perpetually young I wish that would change one day, but I see all these women in their 20s doing filler, Botox, etc They have learned that their value exists in continuing to look young We are so much more than what we look like on the outside I wish our culture would change in terms of how we are valued

hey Elle!brso, does it matter what type of light you use when you're getting your girl glow on? I bought a new makeup mirror with led lights around the edge that fade/brighten I do not love it but, I will get done putting my makeup on and think it looks pretty OKuntil I pass a mirror in another area and YIKES!!!, my makeup looks horrendous!

Great video, great brand I was such a fan of Kevin Aucoin I have his book and was obsessed at the time he did all the 90's models I am 48 and loved the days he did Cindy Crawford, Christy Turlington and Naomi just to name a few I love his Etherealist foundation I've yet to try other products! As far as Botox, u do u! Wish I could get fillers ect but for now I'm a maniac with skincare lol Question Elle, where did u get that cute bandana headband? I'm 39 and in the youtube world there are hundreds, if not thousands, of 20somethings doing makeup channels It's very hard to find more mature channels who can actually give good skin care advice and tutorials Now, I still love my wild colors but one day I'll wear my "grown up" colors lol!! Anyhow, I thoroughly enjoy your channel because you are relatable Who doesn't have botox? I have 2 coworkers in there 20s who stay in the derm's chair I think you do a great job!!

First of all I can’t read everything on your shirt, but learning to say “no” was really hard but very freeing! I have learned a lot from your videos about application of makeup and about what products work and what to pass on When I turned the big 50 I finally was no longer a people pleaser, but a me pleaser and I cannot tell you how freeing it was I am still a very caring person but people who are negative and seem to drain energy are no longer included in my friend group That was a hard but very enlightening moment! Hi, sweetheart we are born to to please others, if someone that tells you any different they aren't telling you the truth! So many things depend on it when we were young , are career, getting married, raising children having friends of children's parents, so many things play a factor into that We want to be liked because that's meaning being accepted Here's the fabulous news, when you hit about 55 I know this to be true because I'm more than that now, and my girlfriend's are too, We don't care what people think, and if we think somebody's is over-analyzing us, we will put them in check but we won't go out of our way to do it No drama just peaceful live, keeping to ourselves, and friends and family I just wish everybody the very best in life, we need to be each other's cheerleaders, especially women ( men too) it's hard I know I've talked to you about my daughter and she's older than you are, and she works for a company that's comprable with Amazon and last year she got sells woman of North America My daughter travels everywhere too, like you, so does my son, but she only has a daughter, and her husband helps her out a lot too But she puts in the hours you do, and like you it's hard hard work, but do it while you're youngbr I know it gets confusing especially when you have small ones but if will work out promise She said the same thing you're saying it's the for her and it's she's wanting to spend more quality time with her daughter, so she's at that crossroads, and when people are at a crossroads, it's better to let it play out you will know what's best for you and your family it's ALEAYS okay to talk to other people about it, and listen to them, it's like garbage in garbage out The things that make sense to you you might utilize thier input at the end of the day It's your choice, your families, and what's best for you guys I think I told you that one time I owned 13 Remax real estate companies and boy I thought I was the cat's meow and I know my husband once said when you're gone they will forget all about you, and I thought no way! Yeah, as soon as I shut the doors, sold it off they forgot about me bawhaha!
