Why does my 1929 s wheat penny have all these specks of dirt under the obverse and reverse sides? Ive rubbed it with my thumb and am about to check it out with a magnifying glass Idk what they are or if it diminishes the value Penny for your thoughts? Comment from : Phillosophy |
|
I paid for a bag of un searched wheat pennies from a Coin Dealer Friend There were 2 1909 S VDB and 1 1909 Also there were Canadian Pennies from 1940 thru 1955 The 1947 Blunt 7 was in there and 1955 No shoulder Fold 2 of those So I think I did well at 4 cents each , I spent $15 Comment from : Jerald Spannagel |

1:32 there was a hair on my screen, and It was straight in the middle of the chat where nothing was, and it looked like the price of the penny going up, but I was like "no way" and brush that part of the screen instinctively Because I love checking the different prices of things from 5-10 years ago, but realised it was nothing and idk why I'm even commenting right now Comment from : I changed My Name |

I really like your videos After my mother and father passed away , I inherited 1000's of coins Then after a lot of research from PCGS and the Red book I see the outrageous prices on ebay and Etsy I saw a 1964 Kennedy half dollar online one was $30,000 and one was $27 00 and looking at the coins they were basically the same grade and condition My question is which price do I believe if I want to sell online? HI DANIEL, AND EVERYONE I SHOULD POST THIS COMMENT ELSEWHERE IN THE COINHELPU SIGHT, BUT I'M IN A HURRY QUESTION: HAS ANYONE HERE, WHILE LOOKING AT A MEMORIAL, AND MAYBE A SHIELD, PENNY WITH MAYBE ONLY 5X MAGNIFICATION SEEN A FAINT STRIKE OF THE WORD "LIBERTY" RIGHT AFTER THE REGULAR WORD "LIBERTY"? SOMETIMES NOT ALL THE LETTERS ARE THERE SOMETIMES THEY ARE PERHAPS IT'S A DOUBLE DIE I NEED TO LEARN WHICH LETTERS AND NUMBERS ARE STRUCK TOGETHER AND WHICH ARE A SEPARATE STRIKE MAYBE I ONLY SEE THE EXTRA STRIKE AT THE END OF TRUST BECAUSE AT THE END IT'S A WIDE OPEN SPACE, AND THE STRIKE IS SO FAINT COLOR ME IGNANT, BECAUSE I DON'T OTHERWISE HAVE A CLUE CHEERS, EVERYONE Comment from : lee kroll |

I've got over 100 coins that are double die, errors and mis punched I don't want to spend good money after bad but, I'm hesitant to send these coins in because I'm leary of the graders and what they will charge for the error coins I have a Kennedy half dollar that is serious (eye identify) double die on both sides I don't want to send a coin in and they grade high and say OH, this coin is worth many dollars and we're charging you a commission on the coin Comment from : John Barrows |

Hi, just subscribed to follow you and your videos I have a wheat penny that has a hole where the year is I can see 19?7 Do you think I'd need to get it graded or maybe it wouldn't be worthwhile Please tell me what you'd do with that penny One more question How can I clean some of my coins Can they be washed with just faucet water and dishwashiing liquid? Comment from : Maria Ramirez |
|
I been collecting coins as long as i can remember My parents would pay me a nickel for every wheat penny and a dime for the nickels i found before 1964 Im 57yrs now and i have my mom and dads collection today I have several coins that are show stoppers and according to highly respected dealers such as yourself would raise an eyebrow with intrest I just cant afford to take that chance to find out what im thinking is a 10,or 30 or 50 thousand dollar coin and pcgs or ngc come back and say its only worth 50 bucks because your video has helped me with the idea to get a start on becoming a successful dealer i highly respect all your knowledge and presentations You take out the hope and youre cut and dry You shoot straight from the hip and pull no punches And you saved me from selling my small date 82 D to a guy for 100 bucks At the time i didnt know what i had and he did I jumped all over his 100 dollar offer I just happened to be watching your video on the 1982 D small date when he arrived to pick it up He overheard you talking and said " its no longer for sale is it? Not for 100 dollars I still havent done anything with it because i m still not comfortable in being a dealer i guess? It would just break my spirit if i sold a coin say, 5,00000 only to find out it to be 100 dollar coin And or visa-versa Thanks for your brutal honesty and leaving high hopes out Thanks again danial, br Respectfully yoursbr Robert Nichols with brNichols coinsbrI just made that company up lol Nichols Coins? Cool Comment from : robert nichols |
