My tips Don't buy anything from foreign sellers, especially China Don't buy ancient coins on eBay, unless you are an expert; I would say over half are counterfeit Always check a seller's feedback before buying anything That being said, you can still find the occasional bargain Last week I bought a lot of seven Australian shillings, dated from 1936 to 1943 Melt value of the coins is $3225 I paid $1495, including shipping Also, check the jewelry section for coin bracelets The coins will usually no longer have any numismatic value after having been made into jewelry, but they will still have their intrinsic melt value Comment from : daver8521 |

Fair warning it’s against EBay rules to contact a seller and ask to buy a listed item outside of EBay whether you use EBay‘a message system or you contact them privately While it’s a given that this type of activity will occur, you are seriously risking The Happy Coin’s EBay account by publicly saying they will do this Also, do not make an offer on an auction listing with bids already on it EBay does not allow this Any seller that accepts an offer is risking their account Plus they would be foolish to do so as the offer they receive is probably lower than what the final bid would have been Comment from : mjanovec |
